Creator Spotlight: Nangoroth

Creator Spotlight is a series where we shine a light on Albion Online’s dedicated Content Creators by sharing their stories, unique perspectives, and favorite moments. Get to know them and, if you’re intrigued, follow their channels for more!
Nangoroth
What is the main content you create on Twitch/YouTube?

I love discovering the many ways to experience Albion, with a strong emphasis on PvP, ranging from intense 1v1 duels to coordinated ZvZ battles. I enjoy playing many roles, whether that’s supporting as a healer, shielding the good guys as a rootbound, holding the bad guys off as a tank, or dishing out damage when needed. For me, it’s about constantly learning, improving, and growing alongside friends. One of my favorite parts of streaming is sharing that journey with Twitch chat – teaching, learning, and supporting each other – because I truly believe we’re all stronger when we grow together.

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]
How and when did you get into creating Albion Online content?

I used to stream League of Legends years ago, but for a long time I didn’t find another game that inspired me to create, so I took a long break from Twitch. Then I discovered Albion last fall and immediately fell in love with its mix of challenge, freedom, and community. As I played more, I realized I wanted to share that experience with my old Twitch community and meet new people who felt the same way.

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]
Do you have a favorite video of yours that you think everyone should have seen? Let us know why it's special!

My most recent video really feels like “me” as a creator. It’s a Corrupted Dungeon run using an off-meta 1h Nature Staff build – not to heal, but to brawl. It’s fast clears, intense PvP, and a little chaos all rolled into one. I love it because it shows what I enjoy most about Albion: trying new things, having fun, and proving you don’t need to stick to popular builds to have exciting, rewarding experiences.

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]
Do you have any new content in the making that you would like to tease?

I’m working on more short-form videos that capture my favorite moments from streams: incredible loot, clutch small-scale plays, or even laughing at my own instant defeats. They’ll be quick, fun bursts of both the exciting and lighthearted sides of Albion.

What advice would you give other players who are considering becoming Albion Online content creators?

The best advice I can give is to truly be yourself. Albion has such a warm, welcoming community, and when you share the kind of content you genuinely enjoy, people connect with that. Don’t worry about being perfect, focus on having fun, learning, and letting your personality shine. Streaming Albion has been one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve ever had, and I love seeing new creators join in and share their own journeys.

Season 28 Wrapup

As the dust settles on Season 28, it’s clear this two-month campaign brought everything Albion’s Guild Seasons are known for: commanding performances, sudden surges, long-fought wars, and some unexpected shakeups. Let’s recap:
Albion Asia
Season 28 saw the continued rise of the CTP Alliance, with Sunset leading the charge. After promising to take the crown, they delivered with precision, steadily climbing to over 850,000 Season Points and securing the win well before the final battles. Their coalition partner Peony Flower also lived up to their word, holding second place and fending off all challengers. It was a show of force and coordination that left little doubt about who ruled the Outlands this season. But while the top two were mostly uncontested, the fight for third place provided its own drama. Agila and Griffin Empire entered the final Invasion Day nearly neck-and-neck, separated by only a few thousand points. In the end, Agila held firm and locked in the bronze position

The race for third place has ignited regional interest, with both emerging guilds now considered strong contenders for the upcoming season. Meanwhile, other alliances are already strategizing for Season 29, leading to heightened tensions. With several factions openly declaring their goals, the stage is set for another compelling season.
Albion Europe
What began as a three-way standoff on Albion Europe ended in a clean sweep. The GRRR Alliance, composed of Woof Woof, Skoggangr, and O M B R A, methodically dismantled their opposition to claim the top three spots on the leaderboard. Woof Woof led the charge with dominant territory control and strong participation, locking in the win. Skoggangr followed in second, while O M B R A surged late in the season to push Heralds of Valhalla out of third place. GRRR’s momentum began early. After forcing the Worldwide and the GLOBE Alliance to disband during the first month, they shifted focus to GIRTH, weathering their raids and denying them any meaningful gains. Despite some strong pushes from Heralds of Valhalla, a major breakthrough never came, and the final weeks saw GRRR tighten their grip on the Outlands.

Now, the question on everyone's mind is whether this dominance can be challenged. With GLOBE gone and GIRTH on the back foot, other alliances may rise to fill the void, or perhaps former rivals will regroup for a counteroffensive. Either way, the pressure is on for Albion Europe’s guilds to answer GRRR’s challenge in Season 29.
Albion Americas
From start to finish, this season on Albion Americas was all about PIVAS. After declaring their intention to take the top spot, they wasted no time locking down key territories and racking up points. Their lead never wavered, even as rumors of returning heavyweights like IFures and FAX began to stir mid-season. Those whispers never materialized into a real threat, and PIVAS stormed ahead to secure their second Guild Season crown. Upside maintained a respectable second-place finish, keeping pace through steady participation and solid territory holds. But the real suspense came in the race for third. INTERDITS and Make Albion Great Again were locked in a close contest, trading places on the leaderboard in the final weeks. Ultimately, INTERDITS edged ahead on the last Invasion Day, holding onto vital zones to secure their place on the podium.

Despite the dominance at the top, the season was anything but calm. Strategic plays, zone flips, and lingering rivalries kept tension high throughout. With new guilds gaining confidence and former powers hinting at a return, Season 29 could see a major shift – especially if the sleeping giants awaken this time.

With Season 28 concluded, congratulations go out to PIVAS, Sunset, and Woof Woof for taking first place on each server. But every season reshapes the balance of power, and with fresh ambitions rising and old scores still unsettled, Season 29 promises another exciting chapter in Albion’s ever-evolving guild warfare.

Check out the full Season 29 schedule, and don’t forget to tune in to AlbionTV for live coverage as the new season unfolds. See you on the battlefield!

Changelog: Abyssal Depths Patch 5
Economic Adjustments
In response to the recent Gold Market price increases, we are making several economic adjustments to bring the market back in line.

While we are primarily targeting rewards that are generated in addition to normal gameplay (e.g. Albion Journal Rewards), it’s also necessary that we make some targeted adjustments to gameplay rewards if we hope to have a substantial effect on the Gold Market. These changes are all only slight decreases, as we hope to make gradual changes over time rather than introducing too many changes all at once.

We will continue to monitor all of these changes closely, as well as the impact they have on the accessibility of Premium for Silver.
  • Many Albion Journal missions that award Silver have had their rewards changed
  • Roaming Mobs now take slightly longer to charge up into more powerful mobs
    • We will be monitoring this change closely to see how this impacts gameplay, but we expect the change to be minimal as it’s only a 10% change to the upgrade frequency
  • The Loot Region Modifier for high-quality Black Zones now increases by +20% instead of +30% from Quality 4 to Quality 6
    • This makes the increase purely linear, as is already the case with the Silver bonuses from the same Region Modifier
  • The chance that loot is generated for a Territory Activity Chest from activity in local and neighboring regions has been slightly decreased
    • This chance now increases by ~1.25% per level rather than 1.5% per level
  • The price of Conqueror’s Chests has been increased from 5,500 Favor to 6,750 Favor
    • The influx of Silver from Favor has steadily increased over time as Favor has become more readily available – this aims to restore the influx to values seen prior to the Rogue Frontier update
  • Chests in Avalonian Dungeons have had their loot decreased by 10%
  • Small, Medium, and Large Treasures now spawn 10% less frequently
  • While we’re happy with the experience of finding a Boss Lair Map, the influx of Silver from Boss Lairs is significant. Rather than reducing the value of Boss Lairs, Lair Maps instead spawn 25% less frequently
  • Hardcore Expeditions remain too competitive for their non-lethal nature, and have had their loot bonuses decreased by 10%
  • While the Depths is minimally impactful to the overall economy, very successful players are still able to draw competitive loot. To prevent the feature from competing with higher-risk lethal features, the following changes have been made:
    • Chests at the Altar of Greed in The Depths have had their loot output decreased by ~9.1%
    • The following chests within The Depths now yield ~25% less loot when looted by solo players:
      • The reward chest at the end of a room
      • The chests at the Altar of Greed
      • Miniboss and Boss chests
      • The keyed Treasure Vaults on Level 3
  • While we like that The Depths offers an avenue for the advancement of the Conqueror’s Challenge, we feel the income is too competitive with Lethal activities as player kills occur more frequently than expected – as a result the Might generated by player kills and Soul deliveries has been reduce
  • We will continue to monitor the Depths and make incremental changes if necessary. Our goal is to make certain they feel rewarding while preserving the balance between non-Lethal, partially Lethal, and fully Lethal activities
Other Changes
• Crystal Offhand Artifacts can now be crafted from Crystal Shards
  • Adjusted Mists instance management to improve upon the changes previously made in Patch 4
Fixes
Spell Fixes
  • Freezing Wind (Frost Staffs): Fixed issue where enemies could be rooted after less than one second inside the area
  • Blood Ritual (Demonfang): Now correctly deals 20% of the caster’s max health as true damage to the caster after the 3rd cast
Other Fixes
  • [MOBILE] Fixed issue where the entrance UI to the Depths would not show
