A quick update
Hello everyone! We're sorry for the lack of updates lately. But we've got some news for you now.
When we started development of Smalland, we had one developer doing the entire game in something called 'blueprint programming' in Unreal Engine. The problem with this type of programming is that it's incompatible with most PC and multiplayer programs out there. On January 25th, we announced that we were bringing in a few developers. We quickly decided it'd be a good idea to start the game from scratch, this time using C++ programming. C++ is ten times faster than blueprint, and will allow us to deliver the survival experience you all deserve! With this new programming language, the performance will be more efficient, the multiplayer servers will now have over sixty player slots, and additionally, this means that you'll be able to look forward to new exciting features and updates in the coming months.
For the past three months, we've been working on the skeleton of our game. Most of it is non-visual stuff, but we're also working on things like animations, models, and level design! As a sneak peek, here's a look at our working UI model:

We'll have some more exciting stuff for everyone to see next month. We're all working really hard to make SMALLAND a reality, and we appreciate your patience and support. Thank you!
