Smalland: Survive the Wilds News

Greetings Smallfolk!

This is a quick update to let you know that dedicated servers are now available via a steam launch option.

You will already have access to this as it will come under "Tools" in your steam library.

To edit settings of your server, you'll need to right click the launch option, then select properties, then browse, there will then be a batch file called 'start-server' right click this and click and then edit the options as you like.

Greetings, Smallfolk! What a year 2023 has been!

With our Early Access launch and the release of 3 action-packed content updates: ‘The Giant’s Fall’, ‘The Forbidden Monuments’ and ‘The Amber Valleys’, along with a bunch more patches and feature improvements, we’re so excited about how Smalland: Survive the Wilds has grown.

In preparation for our journey out of Early Access we have raised the price of Smalland: Survive the Wilds to £29.99 / $34.99 / €34.99.

Greetings Smalllfolk, we've got an update of features heavily driven by community feedback!



Server files to host your own server are now available, as this was a heavily requested feature from the community, development schedules were re-evaluated to make this possible. There is still work to be done regarding the server directory and how we present server files to players, but we wanted to get this done and in the hands of Smallfolk as soon as we could. We will continue to
work on this in the new year.

Additionally, Santafolk has dropped off some extra goodies, with 25 new decorative items!

These decorations will be obtainable in a variety of ways so keep a look out!
Some will be ready to build, others will be a little hard to find.

Finally though,



The majority of building parts are now scaleable, from 0.25, 0.5, 1, 1.5 or 2 times the size for no additional resource cost. This option is in the building menu, 'T' by default.

Quick reminder that the Yuletide event will be running until January 3rd.

Hello Smallfolk, alongside the dedicated server update, we're bringing you some festive treats!

Dedicated servers are live, with

1. 16 North American Servers (With servers on the west and east coasts.)
   
2. 10 European Servers
   
3. 10 Asian Servers
   
4. 5 Australian Servers
   

Currently, servers reset at;

• UK - 0000 GMT 1700 EST
  
• US - 0800 GMT 0300 EST
  
• Asia - Taiwan - 1600 GMT 1100 EST
  
• Asia - Japan - 1500 GMT 1000 EST
  
• Aus - 1330 GMT 8030 EST
  

Dedicated servers for rent are also available via G-Portal
Please note that we are working on getting the server files as soon as possible.



[h3]Yuletide[/h3]
With this update, we're also fitting in some festive goodies for the holidays, Smallfolk will be able to see various pieces of Yuletide themed setting dressing around the map, as well as obtain some seasonal-only weapon variants. These will only be available until January 4th, but the items will remain in the inventory of any character who claims them after that date.

Additionally, on the 21st of December, there will be 25+ new decorative items coming as well as a new building feature. There is currently a small leftover UI change hinting at this in the current update. Please do not look at it as it is a secret.
