Play For Free Announcement
We’re excited to announce that we will be launching a Play For Free version of Brimstone Brawlers mid October.
This new Play For Free version will be like an enhanced demo allowing more people to try out Brimstone Brawlers and help us grow our playerbase - something we know many of you have been asking for. For our current players this will allow them to easier introduce the game to their friends as well as find new people to play with.
This Play For Free version will include access to five fun Brawlers; Engineer, Vampire, Bomber, Plague Doctor and Boxer to play locally or online with. Players will be able to upgrade to the Founder’s Edition during Early Access for the complete package. Any existing players of Brimstone Brawlers will transition to become a Founder, as well as anyone who upgrades during Early Access. As a Founder you are the ones that truly believe in us and our vision and we want to reward you for your stellar support - That means as a Founder you will get all future content for free! That includes Brawlers, maps, modes, challenges etc. Basically pay once and receive everything...forever.
We also believe in being fully transparent - the amount of future content does depend on the success of the game; if the game goes absolutely bonkers you can expect awesome new content for ages to come. However, content wise at a minimum you can expect a total of 15 Brawlers (5 included in Play For Free, 7 in the Founders upgrade and 3 more in development for Founders), 8 arenas, 2 new multiplayer modes and 3 solo player challenges, as well as quality of life improvements like a tutorial, new UI, upgraded netcode and additional music.
