0.0.110 Bamballs and more!

We have been hard at work developing new maps for everyone! In the mean time we are dropping this small update to fix some UX issues.

General
  • Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch scoreboards will now be sorted by remaining lives.
  • Bamball Map collisions fixed so players no longer have to jump to enter the field.
  • Bamball Scoreboards updated - “Saves”, “Balls” and “Own goals” are still work in progress.
  • Bamball goals are now announced.
  • Added subtle shadow to bamball for easy tracking.
  • Players will now be prompted with “Join Match” or “Spectate” when entering an online match.

General
  • Spectator Mode added!
  • Players will now automatically be set to spectator on entering an online match.
  • Spectator Free Cam will slowly be added to each map. It is currently active on Chamber so give us feedback!
  • Ultimates will now slowly charge throughout the match by doing damage and healing. This is an early implementation of this system and we will be developing and balancing it further.
  • Currently the charge will reset on death - this is not finalised and it will likely persist across lives.
  • Hitting the new Brimstone Meteor will give plays 10% charge per hit. The last hitting brawler will receive max ultimate charge.
  • Lobby UI updates including lobby chat window fix.
  • Players will no longer gain full lives when rejoining a match after they have disconnected.
  • Overhealing will no longer count towards score.
Brawlers
Boxer
  • Ultimate collision height has been doubled.
Vampire
  • Ultimate stun duration has been reduced to 1.5 (down from 3s). More to come.

BattlePriest
  • Righteous Fury no longer hits allies.
  • Divine Favour no longer hits allies.
  • Divine Reckoning will no longer stun allies.
  • Divine Reckoning will no longer leave hammer vfx at the hit location.


Plague Doctor
  • Inspect will no longer stun allies.

  • Sewer grate health reduced to 100 (down from 200).

0.0.108.2 - Chamber

General
  • Teams now have names and will no longer be called “Red” and “Blue” Teams in online games. (This is still a work in progress and some UI elements are still incorrectly coloured).
  • Added a Return to Lobby button to the in game menu, allowing the server to return to the lobby. This is a temporary fix until in game voting is enabled.
  • Slapping Glove is now immune to skills.
  • Normalized Explosive Barrel damage. Barrels will now do more consistent damage which has been increased to 50 (up from 30). Shrapnel will now take a moment to prime, decreasing the chance of it hitting a melee ranged brawler. 
  • We have reduced 4 (work in progress) maps back to their block out to allow alpha testers to try them out. We have done this so the art style of each map is still a surprise once they are finished.
  • Players will now be grouped by teams in the lobby.
  • We have not added any new secret team game modes to this build.
  • Meteor.
  • Netcode optimisations. 


Bamball
  • The ball can now be stunned. All damage done while the ball is stunned will be combined together. Once the stun is complete the ball will launch in the direction of the last hit.
  • Ball damage to velocity curve updated, lower end hits will cause less velocity.


Brawlers


BattlePriest
  • Divine Favour proc will no longer take priority over other abilities.
  • Consecrate will now only spawn collisions if it is cast off the edge of a map. (Work in progress, more updates to come).

Bomber
  • Updated Satchel charge skill info.
  • Satchel charge cooldown increased to 4s (up from 3s).


Countess
  • Brambles health will now fall at a much faster rate.
  • Brambles ranged damage increased to 10 (up from 7).
  • Brambles will no longer body block players.
  • Ironvines can no longer be cast while disabled. Ironvines will now reflect 10 damage per hit. (Max every 0.2s). 


Vampire


  • Bloodwind cooldown increased to 5s (up from 4s).
  • Updated ability tooltips.


Wraith


  • Updated Reap Souls tooltip to properly display “10 damage”.

Maps


Chamber (New)


  • Chamber is the latest map to be added to the alpha. This map is designed for smaller match sizes with a focus on 1v1 and 2v2 gamemodes. 


Alchemist Store
  • Players will no longer be able to walk off camera in online matches.


Courtyard
  • Notice boards will no longer drop items.


Gym
  • Updated the collisions on the ropes to make jumping out easier.

General
  • Added more options to Key Binding menu. This is still a work in progress and your patience is appreciated.
  • Many general improvements for Convention Mode. (PAS Aus here we come!).
Brawlers
Alchemist
  • Reduced amount of Purple Potion knockback.
Countess
  • Removed Crimson Spore mechanic (most people won’t notice this).
  • Brambles base and health bar colour will now correctly be displayed.
Engineer
  • Fixed visual seam on dash ability.
  • Ultimate updates.


Plague Doctor
  • Normalized Blood Lets sound levels.


Traveller
  • The Traveller will no longer take damage when hit in the tentacles while they are extended.
  • Reduced knock up on Ctasphfith Surge keeping hit brawlers in the beam for longer.
  • Visual updates.


Vampire
  • Hungering Leap will now (actually) correctly cast on key press.


Witch Hunter
  • Quick shot is now empowered for the first 8m of flight. After this distance its damage is greatly reduced.
  • Lasting Strike slow reduced to 50% (down from 75%) and damage increased to 20 (up from 7).
  • Lasting Strike cooldown increased to 4s (up from 3s).
  • Aimed Shot knockback will now start at 0, effectively reducing its knockback until fully charged.
  • Dodge boost has been reduced.

  • Bounding collisions updated.

  • Visual updates.


Manor
  • Bounding collisions updated.
  • Ultimate pies will now spawn in the middle of the map.


Station
  • Bounding collisions updated.
  • Added new doors to potion platforms.
  • Trains now run on new timers and will arrive at random intervals once leaving the platforms.
