The Last Stitch new update is now available!

You yell "Next!" as blood and sweat cover your face. They scream as you slash and cut through them, but you keep going. Because if you won’t do it, then who will?
You wipe your forehead with your arm and begin stitching back the wounded Quatryl laying on your table.
Diseases breed violence, and whatever end you see it from, both just mean more work for you. And of course, Demonsgate is filled with both in equally large amounts...
When the last patient is finally dealt with, you call for the mercenaries waiting for you and grab your saw.
When gangrene spreads, you cut the infected limb. When death is being spread, you also cut the madmen responsible for it, to make sure everyone comes back alive.

Gather around, guildmasters, as we welcome in our beautiful town the (Saw) Sawbones.
Humans are by far the most dominant of the races. Their society is one of rules and regulations, but also one of great diversity. Due to their intense curiosity and relentless nature, humans can find themselves walking almost any path imaginable – from the obscenely wealthy noble to the unappreciated tavern cook; from the blacksmith forging rugged weaponry to the corrupted pursuant of dark magics.

Perhaps one of the most respected professions in human society is to serve the Great Oak.
Human Sawbones are religious healers operating under the Great Oak. They are respected members of society, but contrary to popular belief do not rely on magic for most of their healing prowess.
This instead comes from knowledge passed from the researchers of the Great Oak.. and from the swift amputation of infected limbs.

Followers of the Oak are religious healers who do their best to ward off the pestilence and death that can manifest in larger human cities. Contrary to popular belief, however, there is nothing miraculous about their healing methods, as anyone who has come to them with a gangrenous leg knows all too well. The mystique of the profession can get lost amongst the screams when the Sawbone has to hack off a limb.

Being an offensive support, Saw is an excellent melee damage-dealer with an incredible capacity for crowd control. As you recruit him, will you prefer his heavy crowd control or his healing and damage?



TRAIN YOUR GUILD TO FACE BRAND NEW CHALLENGES


Take on any of the numerous new missions brought to you in The Last Stitch update.
As you venture into 5 new story missions and prepare yourself to face 2 new bosses, it is time to grab your weapons and find out what dark secrets and unimaginable treasures lie in wait for you in this chapter!

Much more content and features await you in this new patch, including:
  1. A new item (spoiler)
  2. A new perk, “added target”: this perk gives you the possibility to add an additional target as an attack modifier draw
  3. Battle goals are also being added: a major feature from the original board game campaign, this addition allows to continue testing content and gameplay features needed for the original board game campaign implementation (released for the launch).
    This also allows current Guildmaster Campaign players to already experience this feature, as an early taste of the original campaign.
    Battle goals are additional objectives available at the start of a scenario (players having to choose 1 out of 2); they are hidden from the rest of your guild and are a victory condition.
    > Implementation:
    • in the original board game campaign 1-2 perk points to update your attack modifiers
    • in the current Guildmaster campaign: XP to level up quickly.
WE’RE NOT DONE, 2021


We care to let you know that on top of working on these updates, the team works hard on implementing the key elements (structure, features and missions) necessary for the board game campaign to be released.

As you can see, this was the last major Early Access update and our next and primary goal is to release the board game campaign.



(We're aware of a mistake on the roadmap regarding the split gold feature as it is not being implemented yet, and we will be updating it as soon as possible.)

Chapter 7 - v.21261 Update

It has a been a long road, but here comes the final Guildmaster chapter. Thank you all for being with us until the last stitch!
We are now turning our eyes towards the finish line ... just wait and see.

CONTENT:

- The last mercenary joins the roster on this glorious day, this is of course the Sawbones.

- The Seventh and last chapter of your Guildmaster adventure with 4 new missions and a boss, the Winged Horror!

- To wrap things up properly, the more persistent guildmasters might also uncover a final boss mission and face the Dark Rider.

Added - Battle goals are now in the game! They will currently reward XP in Guildmaster, to speed up your progression

Updated - Allied monsters, neutral monsters and boss monsters all have their own decks now. So you can curse enemies without cursing your allies

Fixed an error when using Two Minis Forceful Swipe.
Fixed an issue when restarting round during an attack.
Multiplayer - Fixed an issue claiming an achievement while some players are still on the Claim Rewards screen.
Fixed a softlock when using Cthulhu Spread the Plague.
Fixed a softlock with Angry Face Frightening Curse if you skip the selection of a doom to transfer.
Fixed an error when Two Minis Bear dies and you have no cards to burn.
Fixed an issue with the super bright effects at the start of a scenario with Cthulhu in multiplayer.
Fixed an error with Circles Otherworldly Rage.
Fixed an error when returning to the main menu during the AI turn.
Fixed an error with Provoking Roar.

v.20448 Update

  • Multiplayer - Fixed an issue when a client swaps out a character after selecting accept quest.
  • Multiplayer - Fixed an issue when reassigning characters as another player is joining.
  • Fixed an issue selecting a target when using Angry Face Rain of Arrows.
  • Fixed an issue when Angry Face transferring Dooms with more than one active bonus (eg Crippling Noose) via Frightening Curse.
  • Fixed an issue with Rock Slide.
  • Fixed an issue with Petrify.

v.20418 Update

Another quick update to fix some issues and update some of the logging so we can track down some of the other issues. Will hopefully get another update out early next week but it will be in the Open Beta this weekend if anyone wants to try it out.

  • Fixed an issue when Angry Face discarding Doom markers in multiplayer.
  • Fixed a softlock when using a recover cards ability on a target with no cards to recover.
  • Fix for Mindthief augments not being undone correctly
