Cardiac Event Recorder - Update #68

It's my birthday again, so that means it's time for my annual birthday update! Your gift to me can be playing my gift to you!

I couldn't finish Guardian Soul in time, so this update will focus on a ton of small balance things I've been meaning to get to. Most of them apply to the helpers and helper related gifts. There was a lot of work done on how helpers work internally that will allow me to create more effects for them.

[h2]Updates and tweaks [/h2]

• Changed the Stone Magnet effect to create helpers during battle
  
• Alter Defect and Alter Twin now start with new gifts that apply some of their effects
  
• Increased Alter Twin's base Quickplay power cost from 2 to 3 and reduced her panic threshold by 1
  
• Total helper DPS is now calculated and shown on the attributes screen
  
• Changed the scaling of the Friend Beam charge attack to be affected by the DPS of all helpers
  
• Friend Beams are generally more powerful than before, but all helper fire rates are slightly reduced while the beam is active
  
• Most gifts that increase helper damage have been buffed
  
• Petrichor now increases helper rate of fire instead of shot damage
  
• Friend Spiral can now increase the caps of special orbital helpers
  
• AOE attacks such as Panics, Auras, and Friend Beam will no longer distribute any damage to invincible monster parts
  
• AOE attacks that hit multiple parts will distribute less damage to any parts that are considered resistant and unbreakable
  
• AOE damage is not reduced as heavily while simultaneously hitting parts that deal damage to the main fear bar and ones that don't. This is most noticeable with Friend Beams.
  
• Adjusted the drop rates of bullet type activation gifts so they will not diminish as more 2 star gifts are unlocked. This will keep their drop chance consistent with that of a new save file. This applies to Lovely Hearts, Tiny Wings, and Starry Night if they are available to find by your character.
  
• The number of battles remaining on an active quick gift is now shown on the card itself
  
• The extra chapters added by The Radiant Garden and Treasure Events will never interrupt each other anymore. Treasure Events are prioritized over the garden, but they can both appear right after the battle added by the other.
  
• On new save files, monsters that only appear during specific events will now appear as locked in the collection menu until their even is unlocked. The monster's unlock hint will match their event's unlock hint.
  
• Backup save files are now created in a separate folder. This folder does not sync with steam cloud, so they can't all be overwritten by accident.
  

[h2]Bug Fixes[/h2]

• Aviocs that appear during Shiny Snowball's battle are now purple instead of green as I had originally intended, but forgot about
  
• The Chemical Light gift did not count as a toxic gift for trades
  
• Visual bug that temporarily showed the wrong score after pausing while motes were being added
