v8.22e - April 28th, 2025
-11 new stage events (Total: 79)
-Added 3 new interactions to both gift delivery events
-Moved around a bunch of unlocks
-Added Wrathful and Repelling effects to Rage Duet, Venom Veyeral, Vibrant Veyeral, Nix and Tox Polyps
-Made some changes to Ruby and Heliola's Wrathful battles
-Most guardians, Eyeric Glyphs, and special monsters now bump you away if you touch their main body
-In Amber's battle, the top and bottom rows of spikes will now bump you away
-Bug Fix: Dendrohai used Heliola's collision shape for collision with your heart

Here are the 2 small patches I released shortly after last week's patch notes:
v8.22dd - April 20th, 2025
-Fixed a crash due to a new version of gamemaker (although it was kinda my fault too, I left a coding landmine in there)
v8.22dedede - April 21st, 2025
-Added back some of Momo's gift delivery text that was accidentally removed in v8.22d
-Added Anomaly's interactions to both gift delivery events

The new delivery interactions are: Blot, Joule, Null Unit, and Anomaly (added in one of the small patches)

The next patch will be whatever I get done next week again. It's looking like 2 or maybe 3 more weekly patches to finish up the gift delivery events.

v8.22d

v8.22d - April 20th, 2025
-2 new dreams to fulfill (Total: 740)
-Added 10 new interactions to both gift delivery events
-Collision with the main body of many monsters will now bump you away (This includes most Shambles, Veyerals, Newborns, and Gems. The rest will be added later.)
-All "void walls" of any element will now bump you away if you touch them, and if you warp into them with the Boundless effect, it will kick you back to the other side
-Lowered the requirement for one of Echo's dreams now that she can push you away
-Changed the requirement for one of Veyeral Quartet's dreams
-Revamped the system for setting damage and defense values on objects. This should not have any noticeable changes yet, but it may have introduced some bugs
-Bug Fix: During a screen flipped battle, pausing after the battle ends would keep the screen flipped during the results screen

The new delivery interactions are for: All 6 gem monsters, Pearl, Kiwi, Voltage Veyeral, and Venom Veyeral

The attack value system has been adjusted to allow me to add bleeding damage types to monster attacks. Right now all bleeding effects are exclusive to burdens, and some events. I want to add these effects directly to certain monster bullets. For an easy example, it makes sense for blood bullets to cause bleeding damage. None of this is implemented yet, but it will be in the future!

There are now less than 20 interactions with available monsters left, so next update will be whatever I get done by next week.

v8.22c

v8.22c - April 13th, 2025
-Added 10 new interactions to both gift delivery events
-Only monsters that have been loved in the current run can appear as delivery options, but there is no limit to how many
-Added Wrathful and Repelling battle effects to Heliola, Chemory, and Philolu
-Added memory text for all the new bounty gifts
-Added a tutorial scene for Fortress Battles
-Adjusted the elemental defense and weakness values for many breakable projectiles
-Most elemental projectiles from Veyerals and Glass Flora are now completely immune to their own element, but their elemental weaknesses have also been increased
-Fixed some elements of the HUD updating a frame late, causing some jittering (hopefully this doesn't cause other problems)
-Bug Fix: loading a run would temporarily mess up your story medal completion percentage in the stats screen until you started a new run
-Bug Fix: saving during a run did not save any blessing luck values, so loading a stage with blessing gifts present and then rerolling them would delete all blessings

New Gift Delivery interactions: Amalga, Snowball, Roundsaw, Hematoren, Heliola, Prisma, Sentinel 4X, Glacia, Momo, Split Veyeral

I made elemental weaknesses and resistances a little more impactful in some battles. For example, Burning Veyeral's fire rocks are indestructible if you only hit them with Burn damage now, but they break very quickly with Void damage. There are other ideas I have for making element damage feel more impactful in some battles, and I will slowly put them in throughout these event updates. These will not affect the monster's overall defense values, but only certain breakable parts.

Next patch will come when I get 30 total interactions with each gift delivery event. Both events will also get their achievement/dreams in the next one!

v8.22b - April 6th, 2025
-5 new bounty gifts (Total: 48)
-1 new stage event (Total: 68)
-Both gift delivery events have 10 interactions, but only up to 4 are randomly chosen + "Nobody" as the 5th option
-The game now tracks if you have completed deliveries from each unique monster
-Gift Deliveries now require that you've seen each monster's own event before they can appear as a delivery option
-Added Wrathful and Repelling battle effects to Rage Prisma, Ruby, and Scarlet
-Bug Fix: Depending on a monsters name, if they come alphabetically after "hud," then their battle timer would last an extra frame after defeat. This has been standardized across all battles.
-Bug Fix? Potentially, all minigames had a 1 frame input delay, and this MAY have been fixed

v8.22bb - April 6th, 2025
-Oops fixed a little crash. No one noticed, right?

Scrambla, Boiler, Knot Knott, Calorie, Rendy, Lila, Photoxai, Ombroah, Unit Lulu, Burning Veyeral

The next patch will happen when delivery events have 20 interactions! There will no longer be a limit to the available delivery options, but they will be determined by which monsters you've loved in that run

v8.22a - March 30th, 2025
-Added Sandrome's event (Total: 67)
-Added Rendy's interaction to both delivery events
-The forgetful burden effect will not apply to the first part of a Gift Delivery event, since your character is not the one perceiving those gifts
-Bug Fix: Special and gem monsters would not appear with bounties in endless mode

I've added Sandrome's event now, so I can be working on interactions with all other monsters simultaneously for both events.
