New Void enemies! New Items! New Bugs!

3... 2... 1... Ludicrous Speed Engaged!

Hello all, I plan to update the game on Monday the 8th of March.

So what's in the update? The main change is that enemies are now designed to be beatable with skill or counter-play instead of relying more heavily on RNG.

We have added/changed few weapons that can be countered by the player:
* Artillery is a new weapon, and the blast area can be seen before it hits, so it can be avoided.
* Time bomb is a new weapon that can be destroyed before it explodes.
* Homing missiles can now be outmaneuvered if you are fast enough.

Some of the other items we are adding enable different type of play:
* Repair beam
* Energy draining drones (need a better name)

Other changes/fixes are:
* Cloaking now works with Vacuum Modulator
* Cloaking is now an upgrade to shields (via imbuing station)
* New graphics for starport and crafting stations

Full patch notes will be released with the update.

Galaxy in chaos - Part 2

Hello all,

Just a quick update, I am aware that the game is not balanced (terribly hard and not consistent)
The game is procedurally generated (enemies, sector types..) and a change I made to the generation changed a lot of unexpected things. I am actively working to fix it really soon.
In the next update I will address some issues that are caused by the procedural generation, enemies will no longer be procedurally generated.
I believe this update will make the progression smoother.

Imbue Update


You can now add abilities to your shield and generators by using the imbuing station.
The abilities are passively triggered and are on cooldown.

Some of the abilities are:
Avenging Missiles:
Ability: Shots 20 homing missiles
Tigger: Damage to hull

Berserk
Ability: Greatly increase energy generation for 20 sec
Tigger: On low hitpoints

EMP
Ability: Stun nearby enemies for 8 sec
Tigger: Low energy

Lifeline
Ability: Restores hitpoints and shield
Tigger: On low hitpoints

The next major update 0.5 “The Galaxy is Your Sandbox” is going to expand the sandbox elements of the game (Enemies, Items, Crafting, Boss fights, Etc..)

Hello, There is a (save braking) update in the beta branch.

Patch notes:
* All crafting stations not deploy automatically, deploying and interacting with them will open
crafting screen
* Fixed recipe for Gas extractor item (Now Gas extractor is obtainable)
* Simplified recipes for missiles
* Changed resource mine graphics, different resource mines look different
* Fixed starport quest rewards
