Update v1.7.13 - Treasure Hunting

Are you ready to hunt some treasure!?



In this update you can discover the brand new Treasure Hunters Guild and guild hall in Sleepy Haven. Grab a shovel from Cecil in Sleepy Haven or Rhey in Hope Harbour to start digging up buried treasure conveniently marked with X's all over Tirawyn. Once you've got some artifacts, bring them to the Treasure Hunters guild hall in Sleepy Haven to trade them for reputation and gold and eventually unlock the coveted Ancient Treasure Maps!

Along with Treasure Hunting we've also included a few awesome changes and a bunch of bug fixes as always.

Lastly, to celebrate this occasion, we've put the game on sale for a massive 40% to align with the Steam Spring Sale! Grab it while you can and tell your friends to join you on this new quest!

Fixed:
  • Pets no longer hang around after their owner kicks the bucket.
  • Targ will no longer lock you out of combat if you spam through his dialog too quickly. Simply talk to him again if he won’t fight you.
  • Dodge rolling no longer breaks your flight in ghost form
  • Fixed a weird offset with the item name pop up on beach shells
  • Can no longer enhance tools
  • Swapping between loadouts no longer fails to remove enhancement buffs
  • Fixed various floating sold out signs
  • Fixed an issue where the smelter will start smelting even if you don’t have enough resources to smelt
  • Ancient chest on Castaway Rock is no longer empty
  • Scythes do cleave damage once again (hitting multiple enemies in one swing)
  • Fixed the Mending Fairy
  • Necrotic Prism now spawns skelly minions again
  • Fish shadows now disappear properly in multiplayer
  • Can now enhance a weapon multiple times without the window closing
  • Fixed the Exterminator Wanted job board quest in Hope Harbor (Thanks, Janna!)


Improved:
  • You can now fire arrow projectiles (magic coming soon!) through your friends and companions, making ranged combat WAY better and more useful with friends
  • Melee combo attacks now have damage variation to incentivize combos over dual wielding. All first hits do 70% damage and dual wielding can no longer trigger more than the first swing of a combo.
  • Most treasure chests have been buried and have had loot improved
  • Loot particles disappear once you’ve looked at them, preventing performance problems and confusion when leaving loot behind
  • Day time extended. The sun rises around 7am and sets around 10pm. Lots more time for activities!
  • Improved the visuals and functionality of the pause menu, including a better quit confirmation
  • Improved the loot from Grimwick’s grave
  • When in the crafting window, enhancement slots no longer show up on item details for clutter/readability reasons
  • Farming times extended by quite a bit to make the mechanic less tedious and more passive. Yields and seed drop rates also increased quite a bit to make farming more lucrative over time
  • Difficulty option buttons when creating a character now show when they’re selected properly
  • Tweaked difficulty balance slightly for Hero and Forgotten. They’re now the same combat difficulty other than the auto character deletion upon death for Forgotten
