Hey adventurers!

Frostfall is officially over and that means have no more official seasonal events planned for Swords 'n Magic.

This year we're focusing on wrapping up systems, bug fixing and one more major content push before we round the corner to our official 1.0 release.

We're excited to finally call this journey complete, but unfortunately this last stretch is going to be a long one. We don't have any official dates or roadmaps ready at this time, but we'll keep in touch as we lock down our timeframe.

Also, there are no patch notes for this update other than Frostfall is over and it's business as usual in Tirawyn. Though an update with some more pressing bug fixes is in the works, so hang tight.

Frostfall Hotfix v1.9.5.9

[p]So close, yet so far away with that last patch. Looks like we resolved launching your single player game while it was snowing/raining, but joining multiplayer was causing crashing as well and our fix didn't account for that. This time I think we've got things all squared away, but also introduced a slight cosmetic issue. When joining a multiplayer world affected by weather, you won't see that weather until it updates to something new. We'll be working on resolving this issue as well, but for now at least you can join multiplayer worlds again! Phew![/p][p][/p][p]No other minor fixes for this patch, but there's still another community event coming up, so don't miss out on grouping up to take down the Frost Golem and get your hands on some exclusive Frostfall loot![/p]

Frostfall Hotfix v1.9.5.7

[p]Hey all![/p][p][/p][p]A quick hotfix to update an unusual crash. If anyone tried to load into their world where they previously had any weather besides "clear" it caused a crash. This has now been fixed![/p][p][/p][p]Other minor fixes:[/p]
  • [p]Frostfall Guards now remember to display their names[/p]
  • [p]Music plays again while in Snow Peak[/p]
  • [p]Snow persists between Snow Peak and Sleepy Haven[/p]
  • [p]Increased the chance to grab a Snowman Arm from those pesky Snowmen[/p]

[/p][h2]Welcome to the 6th annual Frostfall Festival![/h2][p][/p][p]This event will last a whole 18 days (ending on January 5th) so jump in now and visit Hope Harbor or Sleepy Haven and speak with the snowmen there to to get access to the exclusive event zone, Snowpeak Village. [/p][p]If you haven't picked up the game yet, it's currently on sale for Steam's winter sale! Now is the best time to jump into Tirawyn, or grab a copy for your friends so you can explore together! Fall Update - 1.9.4.0

[p]Witch's Eve is (finally) concluded after a small extension. We're ramping up for our final seasonal event, Frostfall.

  • [p]Sen now recognizes that you’ve defeated Targ and escaped the training camp even if you forgot to talk to Targ before leaving[/p]
  • [p]Fixed some issues with daggers not hitting Shades thanks to an enlarged hitbox[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue with icicle storm slightly aiming in the wrong direction when cast[/p]
