Balance Patch Hotfix 1.2.27 (3/5/2021)

New:
  • Tutorial quest from Kelch
  • Augment stones now affect max damage potential (85% to 115%)


Improved:
  • Changed the tutorial quest chest drop
  • Adjusted augment stone values
  • Adjusted skill level rate


Fixed:
  • Some weird windy plants were fixed
  • Fixed a few various quest typos and bugs
  • Quest items are now removed correctly during a certain secret quest

Balance Update v1.2.24

Hey guys,

We've spent a lot of time rebalancing the entire game to help along progression more. This patch introduces a lot of stuff, but mostly it introduces a level restriction on weapons which reduces their damage until you reach their level.

Balance Update 1.2.24 (2/26/2021)

New:
  • Bestiary
  • New secret quest
  • New tutorial quest
  • New old tutorial NPC, Kelch, is back
  • Removed custom names from server hosting
  • Weapons now have level requirements
  • Added flint arrows to Ashe’s shop on Castaway Rock


Improved:
  • Items all sell for 30% of their initial value now
  • Minimum of 1 gold for any item with a value
  • Rebalanced all items in game
  • Locked chests will not spawn on Castaway Rock
  • Reduced fall damage
  • Drop rate on chest keys
  • Silver chest rate
  • Removed gold chests from Azura
  • Quests no longer need Masterwork Augment Stones
  • Skill experience is now gained based on damage done
  • Skill levels clamped to 20 temporarily

  • Bows and Arrows now reflect corrected damage
  • Sapling Staff now says “Healing” instead of “Damage”
  • Fixed some splashing happening in the Crab Cave
  • Various NPC cameras to show NPC and not walls
  • Fixed a bug that prevents you from buying an item if it was previously attempted to be bought but couldn’t afford it

Hotfix 1.2.16

Hey everyone,

After yesterday's patch we ended up with a handful of odd UI bugs that we fixed up today.

Fixed:
  • Escape key no longer breaks after leaving dialog
  • Dialog boxes no longer skip pages
  • Merchant window bug fixed


Patch 1.2.15

Hey everyone!

In preparation for the next major update we wanted to get a handful of bug fixes out to you. With the fixes we added a few fun items.

I was also getting a bit sick of the weather in Tirawyn, so now it's spring! Who cares what that groundhog says, anyway?

Just a heads up: The keybinds not saving issue is well known and we're working hard to get it fixed. Unfortunately it's looking like we may have to do a bit more work than we anticipated to get it fully functioning again, but it's our top priority right now and if it doesn't come out in a hotfix in the next few days you can expect it by next Tuesday and no later.
