Patch 1.2.7

Hello Tamers!

Thanks to all the players that have returned for another quest in Monster Crown recently! I've been keeping my eyes peeled for notes from you on anything that needs adjustments. I have prepared another patch.

What you can expect in 1.2.7:
  • Monsters now give you a bit more wiggle room when spawning on the overworld (they were a little too close at times before)
  • The Moveset Transfer exploit has been removed
  • Out of bounds exploit possible in a specific section of Dew Cave has been patched out
  • Dizzy Status condition text adjustment
  • Improved data handling when monsters die during battle in permadeath mode
  • Improved Box auto-add slot select when you tame new monsters with a full party

To touch on the taming style topic, we've mentioned that in our recent big update instead of having two distinct taming-modes for monsters (one for regular monsters where level difference is king, and another for bosses that focused on low HP), things have been unified to keep it more consistent for players, rather than having to keep in mind two very different modes. I'm still evaluating this one, so feel free to continue sharing your thoughts if you feel very strongly about this. In the meantime, feel free to use Necessary Cleave (leaves the foe with at least 1hp) and the Infection status condition (which cannot finish off a foe, just damage them) to tame monsters with more ease if you're in the late-game.

While getting the recent big updates to Switch, PS4 and Xbox One is the thing I have to focus on most in the short-term (to be fair to those players as well), I will stay tuned to the discussion and comments, thank you so much for sharing all of your thoughts and feelings and helping me to elevate Monster Crown!
