CBL 2022 Winter Tournament Participation | Asia Division

Signups are ongoing for the CBL 2022 Winter Tournament. Read the following for more info:

[h3]- Signups[/h3]
1. There is no Ranked Battle score requirement for either teams or players.
You must sign up using a character of level 100 or higher.
2. You can create teams with players from other servers.
Players on the LA, DI, JC and SG servers can create cross-server teams. Rewards will be issued to the character used when signing up for the tournament. Please use the character on which you want to receive rewards (you cannot change this later on).
3. Being added to the tournament server's whitelist.
Teams that have signed up should content us to request to be added to the whitelist. You can find our contact info at the end.
4. At least 4 members of a team must join the group chat created by the tournament host. This is to prevent us from being unable to contact the group in time.

[h3]- Participation[/h3]
1. Characters will be created for participants on the tournament servers. Each player can change their name once. The team's captain must provide a list of participants to the tournament host. If the name of a member's character does not match the name on the list, they will not be able to participate.
2. Contestants can only participate with their one character on the tournament server, and may not create several characters using multiple accounts.
3. Roster Changes
Teams that enter the knockout stage can change their roster. Rosters can only be changed during the time as notified by the tournament host.
- If a player is removed or added from a squad's roster, the tournament characters of that team's members will be deleted and recreated.
- Notes on Roster Changes
- Team members that have not participated in the tournament may be added to the roster.
- Members of already eliminated teams in the same division may be added to the roster.
- Members of other divisions cannot be added to the roster.
- Members that have been disqualified in the ongoing tournament cannot be added to the roster.
4. Map Selection and Ban & Pick Times
Scoring Phase Map Selection
We will issue a link for map selection at 18:00-18:10 (UTC+8) the day before the match. You can choose maps between 18:10-18:30 (UTC+8). We will notify related parties regarding the exact time of map selections. Any squad that is three or more minutes late is seen to have waived their rights to select a map.
Knockout Stage Ban & Pick
Ban and pick starts at 19:50 (UTC+8) for matches starting at 20:00 (UTC+8). Any team that is three or more minutes late is seen to have waived their rights to select ban and pick maps and units.
Ban and pick starts at 20:50 (UTC+8) for matches starting at 21:00 (UTC+8). Any team that is three or more minutes late is seen to have waived their rights to select ban and pick maps and units.
5. Team Spot-checks
We will do spot checks on team data from time to time. If a player is found to have logged in to multiple characters on the tournament server, the players and teams of all related characters will have their participation qualification revoked.

We are making the following changes to CBL to further competitiveness:
I. Scoring Phase
1. The Asia and China’s Mainland Divisions will use the same rulesets and scoring methods.
2. Scoring phases will be carried out individually to contend for spots in the knockout stage.
3. Scoring Phase Promotion
16 teams will be promoted during the scoring phase. The number of entrant teams is decided based on the number of signups in the China’s Mainland Division and Asia Division. The tournament host reserves the right to change the number of entrant teams.
The entrant quota for each division will be decided by the tournament host.
4. Promotion Quota for Next Season's Scoring Phase
The promotion quota will be decided based on the number of signups in the China’s Mainland Division and Asia Division. Based on the division of the previous champion, 1 quota will be added to one division and 1 removed from the other. For example: if a team from the Asia Division won the previous tournament, then 1 extra team may participate in the Asia Division's knockout stage, and 1 less team may participate in the China’s Mainland Division's knockout stage.
As the CBL 2022 Summer Tournament was held within divisions only, the outcome will not affect the number of entrants in the CBL 2022 Winter Tournament or future tournaments.
II. Knockout Stage
Teams promoted from the Asia and China’s Mainland Divisions will battle it out against one another in the knockout stage, where a final victor will be decided.
