1. Important update: Bronze income
Many Warlords were complaining about the bronze income differences between NA/EU version and Frontier version. Firstly, we would like to clarify that we introduced a new battle point system for settlement in Frontier version.
Compared with the old settlement system, the new system is more intuitive and more comprehensive to evaluate the diverse contribution behaviors in the battlefield, such as damage, deploying siege machine, flag capturing time, type of eliminated units and etc. Also, for a single combat strategy, it has a certain upper limit. In the end, the system will add all points up to present players’ performance.
Because this is a brand-new mechanism and the bronze is a core currency in game, we are very cautious in the adjustment of the value. In addition, many Warlords also reported that some players are playing very passively but still get a decent reward compared to active players.
Based on these two points, we plan to optimize the mechanism of bronze income from battles to encourage positive combat behavior. Here are the changes.
- It is expected that after the update on Wednesday (August 20th) to this Sunday (August 25th), a test-based “Bronze Vanguard” will be launched online.
- During the event, bronze income of battle points and victory will be increased about 10 to 30 percentages than usual.
We would like listen to more voices about this change and if you are satisfied with this change in income and this change won’t affect the normal operation of the in-game economic system, we will retain this modification.
2. Important update: Matching-making mechanism update
The current matching system in the game is a level-based matching system, which is a relatively simple processing method. We believe that the ladder system that will enable the Warlords to show their skills in the future is very necessary. However, the design of ladder is very difficult, so we intend to introduce its foundation – battle ranking, to measure and express the combat capabilities of the Warlords in a more dynamic and performance-driven manner.
Therefore, over the past month or so, we are developing a new generation of dynamic “battle ranking” system, which should first be used in the matching system, which is not limited to the levels and based on the real battlefield performance. This system has just been released, and it will take a long time to adjust and stabilize with the help from all the Warlords.
Thus, we are planning to open the new match-making system as an activitiy for all the Warlords to try it out. The specific schedule is as follows:
- August 20-August 22, 14:00-18:00; available both in field and siege mode
To be noted, at the beginning of the test, the Warlords may find that the level difference in the battlefield will be larger than normal. That’s because the system is new online, and the evaluation of the battle ranking of each player requires a period of data accumulation to be more accurate. The data gradually accumulates, and the skills and power between players in the same battlefield will become closer eventually.
3. Bots mode fixes
Our definition of a Bots mode is a low-pressure mode in which the Warlords can participate at any time when they need leisure, but not as the main income resources.
Before the update on last Thursday, we found that when the Warlords reached a certain level when he could only bring T2\T3 units, but the BOT had already brought the T3 or even the T4 units, which did not match the pace of the game, resulting in bad game experiences. Therefore, we adjusted the Bots’ units on last Thursday to make it more reasonable. It also speeded up the efficiency of Bronze income in the Bots mode which turns out that in the high-level Bots mode the efficiency of Bronze farming has even exceeded the normal game modes and we do think it will seriously affect the game ecology.
Therefore, we have lowered the Bronze income in the high-level Bots mode to restore normal efficiency and avoid bad effects towards other game modes.

5. Auction house guidance prices adjustment
Based on the trading data, we have adjusted several guidance prices:
- Lowered the lower and upper limits of guidance prices of most single equipment parts.
- Raised the lower and upper limits of the guidance prices of most suit equipment.
- Raised the guidance prices of rare (blue) blueprints.
- Raised the upper limit of the guidance prices of some unit equipment.
- Lowered the guidance prices of Hero Part – Rivet, Hero Part - Silver Powder, Hero Part - Gold Powder.
6. Hero balances
1) Nodachi: Dragon’s Leap will not stop moving after hit enemies.
2) Shortbow: Increased the damage of normal attack by 10% and added a buff of : increasing piercing armor penetration by 3% to dodge passive.
3) Dualblades: Increased the damage of normal attack by 20%; Increased the damage multiplier of Ambush from 2.65 to 3.; Decreased the CD of Great Thunderblot by 11s for all levels.
4) Musket: Increased the CD of Scatter Shot by 1s for all levels; Removed the small stun from Liquid Fire.
5) Shortsword&shield: Decreased the armor from Ironsides: lvl1 80%→75%, lvl2 120%→100%, lvl3 160→125%.
6) Poleaxe: Increased the CD of Bec de Corbin from 24s for all levels to lvl1 30s, lvl2 28s, lvl3 26s.
7) Poleaxe: Increased the CD of Pushback from 12s to 15s.
8) Poleaxe: Decreased the damage multiplier of Poleaxe ultimate from 0,.850 to 0.755 and decreased the extra damage a bit for each level.
9) Poleaxe: The stun of Grim Harvest has been replaced with reduce blocking.

8. UI optimizations:
- Added the display of the honor progress in the J interface
- Added the key customization for the button of the Hawk eye.
- In order to improve the convenience of the commander's supervision, commander can left mouse clicks on the teammate class icon at the top of the screen to directly switch to the teammate's perspective, so as to more accurately grasp the battlefield dynamics.
- In order to allow the generals to experience a more realistic battlefield environment, we have enriched the types of random weather in some battlefields, including sunny, cloudy, heavy rain, dense fog, sandstorms, etc., and improved the time when the battlefield was opened, including Day, night, early morning, dusk.
- Added VO for weapon traning officer in tutorial.
- When entering the mercenary camp, the camera mode selection has been added. The Warlords can freely choose the “movie camera” or “regular camera” modes.
9. Bug fixes
- Fixed the tribute pool of Chao Feng in Borderlands.
- Fixed a bug where you cannot start pursuit battle after leaving commander mode.
