Dear Warlords, we will be conducting server maintenance during the period of 6 am to 8 am, 21st, Aug (UTC+8). The estimated maintenance time is approximately 2 hours. Once the server resumes service, you should receive compensation through the Mail System that consists of the following: 5000 Silver and 200 Honor.

1. Important update: Bronze income
Many Warlords were complaining about the bronze income differences between NA/EU version and Frontier version. Firstly, we would like to clarify that we introduced a new battle point system for settlement in Frontier version.
Compared with the old settlement system, the new system is more intuitive and more comprehensive to evaluate the diverse contribution behaviors in the battlefield, such as damage, deploying siege machine, flag capturing time, type of eliminated units and etc. Also, for a single combat strategy, it has a certain upper limit. In the end, the system will add all points up to present players’ performance.
Because this is a brand-new mechanism and the bronze is a core currency in game, we are very cautious in the adjustment of the value. In addition, many Warlords also reported that some players are playing very passively but still get a decent reward compared to active players.
Based on these two points, we plan to optimize the mechanism of bronze income from battles to encourage positive combat behavior. Here are the changes.
- It is expected that after the update on Wednesday (August 20th) to this Sunday (August 25th), a test-based “Bronze Vanguard” will be launched online.
- During the event, bronze income of battle points and victory will be increased about 10 to 30 percentages than usual.

We would like listen to more voices about this change and if you are satisfied with this change in income and this change won’t affect the normal operation of the in-game economic system, we will retain this modification.

2. Important update: Matching-making mechanism update
The current matching system in the game is a level-based matching system, which is a relatively simple processing method. We believe that the ladder system that will enable the Warlords to show their skills in the future is very necessary. However, the design of ladder is very difficult, so we intend to introduce its foundation – battle ranking, to measure and express the combat capabilities of the Warlords in a more dynamic and performance-driven manner.
Therefore, over the past month or so, we are developing a new generation of dynamic “battle ranking” system, which should first be used in the matching system, which is not limited to the levels and based on the real battlefield performance. This system has just been released, and it will take a long time to adjust and stabilize with the help from all the Warlords.
Thus, we are planning to open the new match-making system as an activitiy for all the Warlords to try it out. The specific schedule is as follows:
- August 20-August 22, 14:00-18:00; available both in field and siege mode
To be noted, at the beginning of the test, the Warlords may find that the level difference in the battlefield will be larger than normal. That’s because the system is new online, and the evaluation of the battle ranking of each player requires a period of data accumulation to be more accurate. The data gradually accumulates, and the skills and power between players in the same battlefield will become closer eventually.

3. Bots mode fixes
Our definition of a Bots mode is a low-pressure mode in which the Warlords can participate at any time when they need leisure, but not as the main income resources.
Before the update on last Thursday, we found that when the Warlords reached a certain level when he could only bring T2\T3 units, but the BOT had already brought the T3 or even the T4 units, which did not match the pace of the game, resulting in bad game experiences. Therefore, we adjusted the Bots’ units on last Thursday to make it more reasonable. It also speeded up the efficiency of Bronze income in the Bots mode which turns out that in the high-level Bots mode the efficiency of Bronze farming has even exceeded the normal game modes and we do think it will seriously affect the game ecology.
Therefore, we have lowered the Bronze income in the high-level Bots mode to restore normal efficiency and avoid bad effects towards other game modes.

4. House flags
Added house flags to belonging fief’s 3D model in open world.


5. Auction house guidance prices adjustment
Based on the trading data, we have adjusted several guidance prices:
- Lowered the lower and upper limits of guidance prices of most single equipment parts.
- Raised the lower and upper limits of the guidance prices of most suit equipment.
- Raised the guidance prices of rare (blue) blueprints.
- Raised the upper limit of the guidance prices of some unit equipment.
- Lowered the guidance prices of Hero Part – Rivet, Hero Part - Silver Powder, Hero Part - Gold Powder.

6. Hero balances
1) Nodachi: Dragon’s Leap will not stop moving after hit enemies.
2) Shortbow: Increased the damage of normal attack by 10% and added a buff of : increasing piercing armor penetration by 3% to dodge passive.
3) Dualblades: Increased the damage of normal attack by 20%; Increased the damage multiplier of Ambush from 2.65 to 3.; Decreased the CD of Great Thunderblot by 11s for all levels.
4) Musket: Increased the CD of Scatter Shot by 1s for all levels; Removed the small stun from Liquid Fire.
5) Shortsword&shield: Decreased the armor from Ironsides: lvl1 80%→75%, lvl2 120%→100%, lvl3 160→125%.
6) Poleaxe: Increased the CD of Bec de Corbin from 24s for all levels to lvl1 30s, lvl2 28s, lvl3 26s.
7) Poleaxe: Increased the CD of Pushback from 12s to 15s.
8) Poleaxe: Decreased the damage multiplier of Poleaxe ultimate from 0,.850 to 0.755 and decreased the extra damage a bit for each level.
9) Poleaxe: The stun of Grim Harvest has been replaced with reduce blocking.

7. Unit soul balance
- Martial - Doggedness Soul
Before:Increases all defense by 50.
After:Increases all defense by 50, increases health by 100.
- Devotion - Welfare
Before:Increases all defense by 100.
After:Increases all defense by 100, increases health by 150.
- Rejuvenation Soul
Before:Increases health by 200.
After:Increases health by 160.
- Rejuvenation Aura Soul
Before:Increases health by 250.
After:Increases health by 200.

8. UI optimizations:
- Added the display of the honor progress in the J interface
- Added the key customization for the button of the Hawk eye.
- In order to improve the convenience of the commander's supervision, commander can left mouse clicks on the teammate class icon at the top of the screen to directly switch to the teammate's perspective, so as to more accurately grasp the battlefield dynamics.
- In order to allow the generals to experience a more realistic battlefield environment, we have enriched the types of random weather in some battlefields, including sunny, cloudy, heavy rain, dense fog, sandstorms, etc., and improved the time when the battlefield was opened, including Day, night, early morning, dusk.
- Added VO for weapon traning officer in tutorial.
- When entering the mercenary camp, the camera mode selection has been added. The Warlords can freely choose the “movie camera” or “regular camera” modes.

9. Bug fixes
- Fixed the tribute pool of Chao Feng in Borderlands.
- Fixed a bug where you cannot start pursuit battle after leaving commander mode.
- Fixed a camera bug in Hawk eye.
- Fixed several hero skill bugs
- Fixed several unit soul bugs

Notice of cheater banning rule by Conqueror’s Blade: Frontier

Hi Warlords:

Since its operation, Conqueror’s Blade: Frontier attaches great importance to providing healthy game environment for players, and never tolerates the wanton pollution and trampling of the game environment by third-party software. For this reason, we have also officially launched the reporting and anti-cheating system. As of August 19, we have banned three groups of cheating players by monitoring abnormal data of players in the background and publicized them in the community.

In order to crack down on cheating more vigorously, we have also decided: starting from this Friday, we will regularly publish the list of cheating players banned in the community every Tuesday and Friday.

In addition, you can also conduct a spontaneous report, with their own strength to combat cheating, to create a healthy game environment to contribute a force. We will also provide incentives to players who report and verify information for a long time. At present, you have the following two ways to report:
1. In-game reporting system
Either in or out of battle, you can right click on a player's character ID to report cheating. We will check the report information through the background, and take measures to block the player after confirmation.

At present, some players might meet problems such as "report system is not open" or "can only report teammates but not the enemy", we are in the urgent repair. It’s a fledgling system, so please feel free to contact us (at the end of this article) if you have any suggestions on it.

7/19 Account ban announcement

Dear Warlords,:
Great thanks to your support toward the Conqueror’s Blade. To create a realistic cold-steeled battlefield, huge efforts were devoted to maintaining the fairness in the conqueror’s blade after the game came into official operation and any behavior that pollutes the game environment with illegal programs will not be spared.

For the past few days, we analyzed the runtime data of suspicious users based on player’s report, we decided to permanently ban the account of those who either use the illegal third-party cheating program or falsify the data in the game. The third patch name list of 8 players whose accounts are banned are listed as following :

1.Honor cap adjustment
-Only the Honor rewarded from battle settlement will be calculated in Honor weekly cap. Other approaches like daily quests, weekly quests, fief quests, secret vaults, and Honor reward items will not be included.
-When you reach the Honor weekly cap, your Honor rewards from battle settlement will be converted into Bronze according to a certain ratio.

2.Hawk Eye system
In order to help the Warlords better grasp the dynamics of the battlefield, adopt the corresponding marching strategy and change the current tactical square to make the best judgment. After careful consideration, we decided to add a new tactical perspective to the Warlords in the battlefield – Hawk Eye.
1)In the battlefield, you can enable the Hawk eye by pressing Hotkey “Z”.
2)Sight of Hawk Eye: you can see the locations of allied Warlords, allied units and enemies in your allies’ sight. You could also check the terrain of the whole map.
3)Functionalities:
-While you are in Hawk Eye mode, you can use left click of mouse to enable auto path finding for your character
-While you are in Hawk Eye mode, you can also send default messages to your allies by using right click of mouse


3.New unit flag cosmetics
We have added several new unit flags to in-game gold shop. You can check and purchase them at gold shop- unit attires- unit flags.

4.Heroes
Fixed the nodes between hero skill tree, and here the changes due to that:
Spear: Dragon’s Roar III, Amour Piercing lasting time increased from 2s to 3s
Longsword&shield: Clash of Shields III, the Slowed lasting time applied to hit enemies increased from 2s to 3s
Dualblades: The Dance of Death III, the Slowed lasting time applied to hit enemies increased from 6s to 7s
Longbow: Bodkin-Tipped III, Amour Piercing lasting time increased from 3s to 4s
Glaive: Flying Reaper I, Flying Reaper buff lasting time increased from 2s to 3s
Flying Reaper III, Flying Reaper buff lasting time increased from 3s to 4s

5.Unit
1)Bowmen: The combination of damage and survivability makes the unit very hard for heroes to compete. We decided to nerf the survivability to make the unit more fit in it’s role as a damage dealer.
-Demesne Crossbowmen: Default HP decreased by 112 and the HP growth of each level has been increased by 2. Increased the Slashing defense by 89 while decreased piercing defense by 45.
2)Dagger-Axe Lancers: Decreased the members from 21 to 18
3)Fixed the description of Winged Hussars’ training node: “ Charge will not be interrupted” to “Charge will not be interrupted by Barricade”

6.New Epic Unit Souls
To enrich the pool and game play of unit souls, we have added multiple Epic Unit Souls as following:
Admiral - Loyal Soul Reduces unit's leadership cost by 16% .
Admiral - Sprint Soul Skill Unlocks: Sprint.
Increases move speed by 15% for 8 seconds.
Martial - Valiance Soul Increases charge damage by 180 .
Martial - Iornsides Skill Unlocks: Ironsides
Increases piercing defense,slashing defense,blunt defense by 150 for 12 seconds.
Martial - Rush Skill Unlocks: Charge .
Martial - Tenacity Increases slashing defense by 60 .
Increases piercing defense by 60 .
Increases blunt defense by 60 .
Martial - Crustiness Receives 30 less damage .
Martial - Healing Skill Unlocks: Resilience
Regenerates health by 100 for 10 seconds.
Martial - Eagle Increases piercing damage by 100 .
Martial - Night Owl Skill Unlocks: Arrow Rain, causes 65% piercing damage .
Devotion - Unerring Increases firing accuracy by 20% .
Devotion - Dual Shots Skill Unlocks: Dual Shot
Shoot two arrows for 8 seconds, cooldown: 60 sconds
Martial - Rushed Increases damage dealt to infantry by 150 .
Martial - Talos Reduces charge damage taken by 40% .
Martial - Pegasus Reduces charge cooldown by 10 seconds .
Martial - Chimaera Acquires ability: There is a 10% chance to fire flaming arrows .
Martial - Siren Acquires ability: Arrows slightly slow down the enemies by 10%. Duration: 3 seconds .

7.Level balance adjustment
1)Siege of Frontier Camp:
-Increased the defaulting level lasting time from 6min to 7min
-Increased the time reward for capturing a point from 90s to 2min
2)Desert City Defence PVE:
-Nerfed the level of Hornet
-Adjusted the number of high tier units

8.Optimizations:
-Optimized of combat effects in open world fief battles
-Optimized the effect of Trebuchet
-Optimized the sound effects of Dualblades and Glaives when they hit shield
-Optimized the UI of Territory War page in Hotkey “J”


9.Bug fixes:
-Fixed a bug where you have sufficient resources to craft unit kit but the system showed message of “insufficient amount of resources”
-Fixed the descriptions of unit skill – Sprint: add 15% of movement speed
-Fixed a bug where the smugglers in Borderlands were missing names
-Fixed the effects when artilleries went into storage
-Fixed some description bugs of unit souls
-Fixed a bug where the leadership bonus from hero equipment was not calculated in the Warband page
-Fixed a bug in weapon training tutorial
-Fixed a bug where the Reporting system was not functioning correctly
-Fixed the tutorial quest of Visit system
-Fixed a bug where the Reforge system was not listed correctly at Black Smith
-Fixed the English localization of new quests
-Fixed the wrong description of Shortsword&shield skill- Iron side

[Developer Blog 18.08.2019] Honor weekly cap

Dear Warlords, firstly, please allow me to introduce myself, I am a numerical designer from Conqueror’s Blade: Frontier development department. Here, for today, I would like to discuss with you about the Honor weekly cap we implemented in last patch and share our thoughts and incoming optimizations towards this mechanism.

First of all, the purpose of Honor weekly cap mechanism is to narrow the gaps between different kind of players to create a better game experience. Our development team read all the feedback on this new design carefully and we will keep doing that in the future as well, meanwhile, we are planning to do some optimizations based on them.

Many of you believe that the design of the Honor weekly cap is not that reasonable of calculating not only battle settlement Honor rewards but also some systems beyond that like quests. After careful consideration, we are agreed that honor rewards from non-combat which does not require a lot of game time should be considered as equal for all players. At the same time, we observed that, involving non-combat honor rewards in the cap may hurt players’ enthusiastic of joining in these game plays and this is supported by our data analysis results as well.

Therefore, based on your feedback, we are thinking of optimizing the design of Honor gain weekly cap in this way:

1. Only the Honor rewarded from battle settlement will be calculated in Honor weekly cap. Other approaches like daily quests, weekly quests, fief quests, secret vaults, and Honor reward items will not be included.
2. When you reach the Honor weekly cap, your Honor rewards from battle settlement will be converted into Bronze according to a certain ratio.

In addition, many of you have reported that the honor weekly cap is not friendly and fair enough for new comers, which would bring bad game experience when they try to catch up faster. Generally, we are agreed on this point and we are thinking of a new catch-up mechanism to solve this problem. Please give us some more time to think it through and do a full implementation.

Last but not the least, I would like to say something, on behalf of development team, our responsibility and goal is to build a good experience for all of our gamers. We should admit that we still have a long way to go, especially on the design aspect. To take care of the interests of all kinds of players, sometimes, the outcome of a certain design may out of our expectations. The ideas and feedback from all of you are very important to us.
