The Perioeci, inhabiting the fringes and coastlines of Laconia, were a people of craft and commerce. Unlike their Spartan counterparts, who lived by the sword, they embraced a more nuanced approach to warfare – one of cunning and precision.
The Laconic Javelins, drawn from the ranks of the Perioeci, embody this tactical approach, bringing a deadly ranged threat to the battlefield.
Unit Inspiration:
The Perioeci, unlike the Spartans raised for war from birth, thrived as artisans and merchants. In their coastal and border settlements, they cultivated a different kind of strength – a strength born of ingenuity and skill. Serving as javelin throwers in the Spartan army, they provided essential ranged support, screening the advance of their Spartan allies and exploiting vulnerabilities in enemy formations.
Their powerful throws, honed through years of craft, propelled meticulously balanced javelins capable of piercing even the thickest armor. Those who dismissed them as mere craftsmen quickly learned the deadly effectiveness of their javelins. At Thermopylae, these stalwart defenders stood alongside their Spartan brethren, their javelins – a storm of piercing steel – answering the Persian arrows and claiming their place in legend.

Fixed the issue where the skills [Chain Dart & Scimitar] - Scorpion's Snare, [Dual Blades] - Marked for Death, [Poleaxe] - Rough Justice, [Maul] - Strike and Grapple, and [Pike] - Sky Dragon (used after Ultimate) would occasionally cause an abnormal reduction in skill cooldown.
Fixed an issue where using auto-navigation could occasionally lead to the wrong destination.
Using the "Reset" feature in the open world when you cannot reach your destination will no longer return you to the regional capital, but instead relocate you to the nearest fief.
