Gigantic rifts emitting a faint purple light have begun appearing upon the land. Bandits touched by the glow turn rampant and assault cities. Now, even Conqueror's City's defenses are stretched thin.
The City Council dispatched scouts to investigate this mysterious phenomenon. Several days have passed without any news. Seeing as the scouts have likely run into trouble, the Council has requested the help of the Auctioneers. They are now recruiting brave Warlords from across the land to investigate further and strike back at the bandits.
A crimson and golden silhouette can faintly be seen battling an unknown darkness through the rift. Mysterious persons in odd attires and golden masks have also appeared within the city...

The Naraka Trials | MAR 23 Update - Server Downtime



Hello warlords,

We will update the game during our maintenance on March 23rd, which will last for 3 hours and run between 12:30-15:30 (UTC+8). After the maintenance we will give all players 8,000 Bronze Coins, 300 Honor, and 15 Unit Medals as compensation for any inconvenience caused. Be sure to arrange your time accordingly.

Mar 23 Balance Change Preview

[h3]Imperial Spear Guards[/h3]
Being the unit with the largest shields in the game, they're tasked with the momentous task of defending both allied units and heroes. However, their [Cover Commander] skill doesn't grant enough protection in the current meta.
We're increasing their attack damage during [Cover Commander] by 30% and heroes within the effective range will take 24% reduced damage from enemy units.

[h3]Sword & Shield Infantry[/h3]
Based on community feedback and statistics, we've seen that sword & shield infantry are currently underpowered, especially when pitted against polearm units with brace. We'll be making changes to how the three following units fare against the [Brace] and [Stand Firm] skills this time around to make them more viable.

[h3]Men-at-Arms[/h3]
[Shield Rush] is now better at blocking [Brace] and [Stand Firm] attacks and now deals 38% more damage against units in [Brace] and [Stand Firm].
Improved the AI's pathing logic of [Cover Commander] so that they attack enemies near the hero and avoid narrow terrain.

[h3]Palace Guards[/h3]
[Shield Rush] is now better at blocking [Brace] and [Stand Firm] attacks and now deals 33% more damage against units in [Brace] and [Stand Firm].

[h3]Banner Guards[/h3]
[Charge] is now better at blocking [Brace] and [Stand Firm] attacks and now deals 21% more damage against units in [Brace] and [Stand Firm].

March 16 Balance Changes

Based on recent feedback and online data observation, we plan to make balance adjustments to the Symmachean Stalwarts, Dagger-Axe Lancers, and Chevaliers in the Mar 16 update.

[h3]Symmachean Stalwarts[/h3]
Removed the 12% extra damage bonus of [Brace]. The damage reduction effect and HP recovering effect upon successful block remained unchanged.

[h3]Dagger-Axe Lancers[/h3]
Reduced [Rally to Me]’s damage by 4.5%, and armor penetration by 10% when counter-attacking. The charge damage remained unchanged.

[h3]Chevaliers[/h3]
Reduce the average number of arrows fired by the Demesne Arbalists and Demesne Crossbowmen when using [Glory Charge] and [Lance Thrust].
When the Demesne Arbalists or Demesne Crossbowmen are not equipped with the Double Shot doctrine:
[Glory Charge]: 1 arrow per round (same as before adjustment).
[Lance Thrust]: Chance to shoot 1-2 arrows per round. The average number of arrows is reduced from 2 to 1.7.
When the Demesne Arbalists or Demesne Crossbowmen are equipped with the Double Shot doctrine:
[Glory Charge]: Chance to shoot 1-2 arrows per round. The average number of arrows is reduced from 2 to 1.7.
[Lance Thrust]: Chance to shoot 1-3 arrows per round. The average number of arrows is reduced from 3 to 2.5.
