Captain Bix Duquette, or Bix, is a legend of the scum belt. The founder of Sinley Bay is both feared and respected. But there's a side of Bix that only the best Captains get to see.
Once a year, Bix rewards the most loyal dwellers of Sinley Bay with gifts. "It ain't a sentimental thing," he said. "It's a practical thing. These renegades risk their lives fighting a war that will never end... but they will fight for whoever pays them the most... or for whoever they like the best. I may as well make sure the best Captains are on my side."
