With autumn now in full swing, the island is ready to delve once more into the dark and frightening:
Howloween has risen again! We have three weeks of scary-good challenges, rewards, and monstrous Super Animals to reveal, so let’s go bravely into the darkness and see what lurks in the shadows of the event’s first week.
The
Super Cthulhu Octopus has emerged from the deepest corners of the Research Lab: a nightmare made real! Smash Jack-o-Lanterns and collect Candy Corn (also earned at the end of each match) to get a small heal and progress some of your weekly event challenges as you stalk your prey around the island.

[h3]New Super Animal Breed[/h3]
As always, new breeds introduced during events are permanent additions to the Lab, and event challenges can be beaten at any time during the event’s run (not just during the week that they unlock). Just like having a bucket full of candy to eat, it’s best to pace yourself.
New in the SAW Shop: Ghost Bride Bundle
Til’ wabada do us part… the
Ghost Bride Bundle is now in the SAW Shop! This beautifully macabre set will be available as one of the week’s Featured items alongside the new
Howl emote, so if you like it you should put a ring on it before it goes into rotation.

S.A.W. vs. Rebellion Balance Changes
We’ve implemented some changes for S.A.W. vs. Rebellion classes around their armor, to help balance them out and highlight their individual play styles.
- Heavy I now has tier 2 armor (up from tier 1)
- Scout II now has tier 2 armor (down from tier 3)
- Sniper II now comes equipped with the Bandolier powerup, and has tier 2 armor (down from tier 3)
Zombie Joe Plushies: Fully Funded!

Thanks to all of your support, both of the
Zombie Joe Plushies we recently unveiled with Makeship have been
successfully funded! We’re thrilled to see the excitement for this plushie campaign, and can’t wait for these little bundles of undead joy to make their way to homes across the world when they ship next year.
