ΔV: Rings of Saturn News

This is a hotpatch release, fixing a bug in one of storylines that caused some of your crewmembers to quit job in a story even, when they should not.

[h3]Ship dealer upgrades[/h3]
The main feature of 0.225.5 is the overhaul of Ship Dealer menu. You now have the ability to trade in your current ship, which will allow you to buy new ships much sooner.

[h3]Small screen usability[/h3]
Game was re-designed to work well on screens 720p resolution (1280x720). This includes changes to ship HUD and general rendering changes. I tested the game on 6" screen to make sure that it's fully playable and legible even on smallest screens.

As usual, this release features a heap of bugfixes and miscellaneous changes:

• Fixed a bug that caused recon drone to stop following you when you got past 1000km into the rings.
  
• Improved performance, especially in dense areas, when a lot of collisions are happening.
  
• Additional performance fixes in physics of excavators, grinders, and general NPC AI.
  
• Added a clear indication when a dialog option will cause you to dismiss a crewmember.
  
• You can now fully use the tuning menu with keyboard or gamepad.
  
• Grinders on Eagle Prospectors in ship dealer won't detach and drift away anymore.
  
• Fixed a memory leak that caused the game to crash when you sold and bought a lot of ships.
  
• Fixed a bug that could cause two ships to appear in Enceladus if you traded ships quickly.
  
• Sold ships will now re-appear on Dealer menu if they were bought recently.
  
• Dealer menu list won't flicker so much anymore.
  

This is a patch release fixing up some bugs reported recently. Changelog:

• Fixed a bug in gas simulation that could cause a massive kinetic damage if your ship was swept by a drive plume.
  
• Full House achievement was finicky about the crew you were hiring.
  
• Updated translations.
  
• Fine-tuned some of the new story encounters.
  
• Added missing final chapter to ex-pirate storyline.
  

Saturday was originally named after the planet Saturn, which was in turn named after Roman god. It's only fitting to release an update for ΔV today. In our recent vote over discord.gg/dv you decided that I should split my time equally between personal stories of our crew and grand-scale events - and that's exactly what I'm doing.

In this update you'll find additional personal storyline and a new encounter, as well as three new achievements to unlock.
