It's that time again - the annual Luminaire Snowball Fight is upon us!

Organised by Commander A9, it's a fun, social event where capsuleers gather to hurl snowballs and fireworks at each other to celebrate the conclusion of another year in New Eden.

This year the event will be held on Sunday, December 20 from 21:00 UTC outside Luminaire VII (Caldari Prime) - Moon 6 - Federation Navy Assembly Plant.

So bring your festival launchers, your snowballs, your fireworks and whatever else you have that will put on a great display for your fellow capsuleers. There's a lot more to the event and you can read all about it in this forum thread.

This is going to be ultimate mayhem! You haven’t experienced brawling like this as four teams have never been able to enter the Proving Grounds simultaneously! Make sure you have your Proving Filaments ready, either from Abyssal Deadspace loot drops or from the in-game market.

Until 11:00 UTC on 22 December, you can engage in 2v2v2v2 Tech I Destroyer competitive matches. Permitted hulls for this round are: Algos, Catalyst, Coercer, Corax, Cormorant, Dragoon, Sunesis, Talwar, and Thrasher.

Limitations for this round are:
- Modules limited to meta level 5 and below
- No pirate implants

The combat will take place in a new Yoiul-themed arena and there will be a special heat damage bonus for this event!

Don’t forget to track Capsuleer performance in this event using the leaderboards. Bring some heat this holiday season!
