Timeline for full release

[p]Hey all,[/p][p]1.0 version of Lost Flame will be released on 17th of February 2026. Early next year I've have decided to take a few weeks off my daily job to fully focus on wrapping up the game, hence the delay from this year. There are a number of pending changes on beta branch already (with some changes to some of the endings, some new NPC voice lines, a bunch of QoL changes, and lost of flavor texts added) and more will come in the next weeks.[/p][p]The game is like 97% complete, and most of the changes left are - more polish, fixing any bugs that I find, enhancing the leaderboards and playthrough stats, and adding 1 "side quest".[/p][p]Sorry for keeping you waiting some more, but I think those few full-time weeks will be extremely valuable for the 1.0 release.[/p][p]In the meantime I have uploaded an updated trailer to the Steam Page. 0.20.7d hotfix

hey all,
Small hotfix (0.20.7d) is live:
* added a setting on Steam Deck to disable controller vibrations
* Violet no longer gives you witchglass at the very end (it was not very useful anyway at that point)
* changed a little bit mechanics on Violet Pepper's intro chat
* when using chat, the message log is moved to the lower part of the screen every time
* fixed one of primordial children of Iphe having wrong sprite
* added option to navigate to found exits on pad too (L2+Y by default)
* reduced the volume of rain a little bit
* one of the primordial children of iphe will no longer transform big part of your equipment into tentacles in some cases
* push away sound will no longer be played globally even if it happens far outside of your hearing range
* fixed ball lightning not giving you exp for kills
* fixed game selecting second option in menu every time you run it on steam deck
* minor changes to some of the mechanics related to Marsh ending

0.20 is out!

[p]Hey all,[/p][p]Version 0.20.7b is out on stable branch. This is the last planned major update before 1.0 that I plan for December 2025. Here you can find the remaining "big" things. If you are interested in the updates as they are developed, or just want to chat, check out Lost Flame's Discord server[/p][p]The update contains several major changes, and a long list of smaller fixes and improvements.[/p]
MAJOR
[h2]Unique Item Refinements[/h2][p]This is the largest part of this update. Each single unique item can be refined up to 3 times to gain unique hand-made effects for even more build customization. Here are a few examples:[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Items can be refined by Aveline, a new NPC you will encounter at some point. A new resource - witchglass - is required to do so.[/p][h2]New ending[/h2][p]The update introduces a new difficult ending tied to Violet Pepper. The ending is a little more complex than others, if you don't mind some spoilers you can check them here.[/p][h2]Enemy lookup info[/h2][p]Now you can 'L'ook at the enemies and get to see their abilities, effects and rough stats.[/p][p][/p]

  • [p]after reading scroll of enchant item, you can now enchant items by clicking items in the inventory slots on right side[/p]

  • [p]When you are in the bottom side of the screen the message log will be shown at the top of the screen (e.g. when starting the Gargoyle fight, check the screen)[/p]

  • [p]when losing lots of stamina in a single turn (e.g. large hydra hitting you), sometimes the stamina bar would go outside of the box - fixed[/p]

  • [p]Abyssal drones should no longer randomly teleport into Hythe and cause a huge fight[/p]

  • [p]greatly reduced the chance of generating jewelry with affixes[/p]
  • [p]greatly reduced the amount of jewelry spawning in late game[/p]
  • [p]updated Brokbrog's recorded hello and goodbye lines[/p]
  • [p]amulet of barrier now has a minimum cooldown of 1 tick[/p]

small hotfix for cleansing uncursed consumables removes them from inventory

This is a small update fixing an issue where attempting to cleanse uncursed consumables at Arabelle would remove them from inventory.

0.19.5c more config options on Steam Deck

Hey,
This small update adds the possibility to bind typical weapon skills in the controls menu on Steam Deck.
It also fixes:
* a small bug where NPCs would not say their "thank you" lines after you buy/craft something from them.
* a small bug where the "your gold" label would not update as you are buying items
