VOTE PASSED: Rename & Rebrand of SCP: Pandemic to SCP: 5K

We are proposing a rename & rebrand of SCP: Pandemic to move to a name that better-represents the project this has and is continuing to become (SCP:5K). We have chosen something we feel is right after lots of internal discussion and planning. ❤️

To be very clear, this in itself does not change any goals we want to achieve, it will solely be a new name for the same project you already know. We have put a lot of work into this idea internally, and this has now been a multi-month process between voting on names, logo design, and how we can properly transition to a new name if it's ultimately voted on! 🙂

If the public poll passes, we will proceed to a 1+ month countdown livestream + marketing efforts to build awareness of the rename. The change itself would be enacted on January 1st, 2023 on Steam. Livestream start date will be determined if + after this final vote passes.

And ultimately... I just want to say thank you to you all. We owe so much to every one here, this opportunity has been huge for us as a collective, and I personally am incredibly thankful for everything, irregardless of which way this poll goes, the name means nothing compared to everything else.
