Remote Play Together Minor Fix - v0.13

A small update just released addressing issues with steam remote play together, which some users have reported as not working. We have addressed this but in certain situations the guest's controller won’t detect input. If you experience this, please ask the guest/friend to simply disconnect and connect the controller again, after they have connected, to fix the issue for the connected guest/friend. This is sadly an issue from steam's side which we are trying to address with them ASAP. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Weekly Update 1 - Optimizations & Bug Fixes

We are excited to bring you our first weekly update for Stuck Together, with many optimizations and bug fixes. This patch has already been released. Here are the patch notes:

Optimizations
  • Added LODs to many objects that were missing them
  • Small foliage is now culled in the distance
  • Landscape performance now has less detail when in the distance
  • Optimized some character animations to use less CPU time
  • A lot of level geometry has now been baked to improve performance
  • Particles have now been redone in a much more optimized method (currently wind particle is missing which will be added again soon)
  • Some internal UI performance improvements

These optimizations have overall increased the game's performance by 30%-50%, depending on your PC Specs. There are many more optimizations that are soon to come in the next patch, and we are also adding graphics options to allow people with weaker PCs to enjoy the game too.

Bug Fixes
  • Fixed a rare crash that can occur from the game's cache
  • Fixed lighting in many interior areas within the farm level
  • Fixed lighting on many individual models
  • Fixed Collision issues in the Farm level on the second floor of the Barn and many foundations around the map
  • Fixed many bugs with enemy AI so they will now act more consistently than before
General Improvements
  • Added new instructions in the game to explain how to use 'Steam Remote Play Together' within Stuck Together. This allows you to play with friends online.
  • Stable Gate in Farm level now has the correct model
  • Minor improvements to particle effect detail

Our Next Update will be next week. It will contain many more improvements to the current game.

We are currently hard at work on our next big major content patch and will show off our progress on it soon.
