Gameplay:
- Fixed an issue where saving a game with a partially repaired World Forge could corrupt the save file.
- Fixed the issue where Obelisks were not able to be interacted with and always displayed the text “Not Activated”.
- Fixed the issue where C.A.R.L. wouldn’t trigger the correct conversation for the “Seeking the Survivors” objective, blocking story progression.
- Fixed the issue where the Brachylon Trader would get stuck behind the Marketplace tent and never return to the correct location.
- Moved the Brachylon Town Gates further towards the Oasis creating a safe zone from hazards and weather events when talking to the Guards.
- Fixed an issue where the Buried Left Pillar Artefact was occasionally not placed in the world, preventing players from repairing the World Forge.
(Please Note: this will not fix existing saved games and players who have encountered this issue will need to start again to complete the campaign.) - Improved pathfinding and vision occlusion around the Corrupted Camps as creatures would often have trouble following and targeting the player.
- Void Rifts can no longer open directly on important story areas such as the Octomian Base, Damaged High-Tech Drone and Barr Hollow.
- Urchins no longer lose health when they eat Raw Chitterling Meat.
- Players now receive an Airsynth on scanning the Destroyed Escape Pods
User Interface:
- Added a preview window to view what is inside storage lockers without opening them.
- Added a Controls Screen which shows the default keybindings for mouse & keyboard.
- Added the latest localization translations to the game and fixed grammatical errors and missing text on the map category filter buttons.
- Added a new pop-up window when players try to load an invalid or corrupt saved game.
- Fixed the Expedition Summary death screen from appearing before the Doomsday Cinematic finished.
- Fixed an exploit where players could keep structure inventories open after running away.
Audio:
- Reduced the volume of various environmental objects that created very loud noises.
- Reduced audio volume when hovering objects with the cursor.
- Fixed an issue in Multiplayer where Quinn would constantly say “something new to scan” after teleporting into range of other players.
- Background audio is now only muted when the game is paused. An option to toggle background audio muting will come in a future update
- Added Hazard Suit dialogue cooldowns to prevent constant audio warnings triggering.
Visuals:
- Added Fireball damage indicators as these were unintentionally difficult to avoid.
- Improved various environmental assets including areas where the player could become stuck due to bad collision.
- Changed the default Graphics Quality option to High instead of Low.
- Improved and polished various creature ability effects
- Fixed an issue where inventory items repeatedly bounce in place when dropped with poor network conditions.
Technical:
- Fixed a variety of crashes reported by players.
- Improved stability.
