• Windowed mode returned to Steam client.

• Fixed a bug where rating changes were not shown in debriefing after DUO battle.
  
• All food is now equally useful. Now it replenishes an equal amount of HP per time spent and the fastest food is always eaten first. Weight and volume of canned food has been lowered a bit.
  
• In the customization menu the sorting of mystic signs has changed: traps are listed before rituals and signs with the same effect are sorted per their rarity.

• A bug which would result in players falling into and getting stuck in trees has been fixed.
  
• A bug which would make it difficult to swim through windows has been fixed.
  
• Bolt-action rifles will now show a hint while aiming through the scope, advising that you can hold down the shoot button to prevent the bolt-action cycle.
  
• The incorrect rate of fire of the Mauser C26 Mod 712 has been fixed.

We are pleased to present the major update “Black Sun” for Cuisine Royale. You already know about new rituals and weapons, tasks and rating model. And here is the top story - new Champion will join the fight in our brutal survival games.

[h3]So, meet Valentine ‘Viper’ Chase.[/h3]



Chase grew up in biker gangs and later founded her own one, becoming the biker queen of the Black Sun club. Even as a teenager she demonstrated impressive skills in fast gunfighting. Val has a unique ability, allowing her to rock in close quarters crossfire. After entering the ‘Flickering Step’ mode, she can jump through space, chasing an enemy, flanking them or escaping from the fight scene. 

Flickering Step mode lasts 24 seconds, allowing her to jump forward at any time for it’s duration. Each jump subtracts 6 seconds from the overall duration, thus allowing up to 4 jumps. Each jump covers about 20 meters if no obstacles are met. 

Viper has three different outfits: city coverall, racing biker suit and biker queen suit. 

As for other changes, you’ll find:

• New medicine mask. We do not want our champions to catch a virus. Doubtful it can survive our deathlands, but who wants to risk it mutating in the Dark Zone?.. Oh, and the mask will make special abilities easier to be used in battle.
• Summer returns to normandy. From now on both versions of that location will be equally available in rotation.
• Scope reworked - now they look much more realistic.
• Annie ‘Pinup’ Ashley got a new camo suit, resembling her mercenary past.

  • Black glasses.

  • Annie - military suit
  • Valentine - Biker Queen suit, Urban suit, Race suit
• New firearms added.
• Reworked scopes - now more realistic and don’t cover the whole view.
• New postures for champions in the main menu.
• Return of Summer Normandy into rotation with the Winter one.
• Added option to switch on improved DOF effect for scopes.

• Fixed a bug where Practice mode was unavailable.
  
• Fixed bug causing weapon and sights to disappear on screenshots taken in first person view.
  
• Increased buff in HP for Eric during flight in Thunderstrike ability. Ability cost lowered to 80 souls.
  
• Lowered decrease in spread and recoil while shooting in Bullet Time for Annie.
  
• Somewhat lowered distance of target highlighting in Bullet Time for Annie.
  
• Increased cost in sinner souls with Bullet Time ability for Annie to 100 souls.
  
• Lowered cost in sinner souls with Beast ability for Clyde to 80 souls.
  
• Lowered cost in sinner souls with Spirit Walk ability for Ocelotl to 70 souls.
  
• Fixed bazooka launcher reload and run animation.
  
• Fixed bug with receiving damage during jumps after player has been revived (squad and duo modes).
  
• Fixed bug with levitating grenades in practice mode.
  
• Fix for rare case of client crash.
  
• Fix for controller navigation with combobox.

Cuisine Royale Champions!

It is the right time to make the system of daily tasks more useful and diverse! That’s why in the upcoming major update “Weird West: Black Sun” you will get brand new missions and prizes.



The principle of receiving rewards will be changed: you will receive prizes according to the prize chain for the season when performing tasks. The prize table sheet will be changed every two months, so the time to complete the entire task chain is limited.

Rewards will now include not only the usual royal bucks and experience points, but also items from the workshop and unique equipment items. Having the book will guarantee access to premium rewards that will replace the previous premium tasks.

If you are in a position where you can not manage to finish some tasks to achieve your goal in time, you will be able to purchase them for golden crowns

As for the research of new champions, the principle will remain the same - that is completing a required number of tasks. Also if you have the book you will be able to get extra points in research progress.
