Hi everyone! This is TingThing, the Dev. of Platform Builder,

Platform Builder 8 has arrived!

There are a LOT of new features that you can see here and here, but one of the most important additions that I want to highlights is the ability to export your games into a stand-alone .exe package with Platform Builder Pro.


This is something I have wanted to do for a long time, and I finally figured out a way to do it! If you have supported this program by purchasing Pro, you will be able to export your games to run on their own directly through Platform Builder so you can share them with your friends or even upload to other indie game websites.

I typically post announcements on the forums, but I wanted to make sure everyone had a chance to see this.

Platform Builder 7 is on its way, and it should be out (hopefully) by the end of August. If you have kept up with previous announcements, then you should know that this next version of Platform Builder will focus on a lot of suggestions and requests by the community. It's not too late to post in the suggestions page on the forums! We'd love to see the community grow, and you'll get the chance to see some of the exciting things which are coming soon!

New features are ahead in Platform Builder 6.1!

It has been fun to see Platform Builder finally get running on Steam! For those of you who have followed from the beginning, you know that updates are common and Platform Builder is constantly growing. 6.0 came out at the end of last month, and the next release will be out in only a matter of weeks from now!



I have already posted some stuff about the explore section and commands which will be major changes to look forward to. I hope you can all join the conversation on our forums!
