Take Cover! ...Or Not...

Not all cover is created equal.

Wooded terrain can provide good cover in a firefight, but what happens when the shelling starts?



Instinct may tell you to seek refuge among the trees, but this instinct is wrong.

Indirect mortar and artillery fire can transform trees into weapons, turning a forest into hell storm of splinters and shrapnel. Hunkering down here will do more harm than good when being bombarded by high explosive shells.

Keep this in mind as you plan your mission, Captain.

Lives will depend on it.
