Here Comes the Cavalry!

The Easy Eight is a beaut ain't she?

But don't go fallin' in love with 'er. It'd never work out. She's a tank and you're an infantry officer.

It ain't meant to be.

That bein' said, she sure is a sight for sore eyes when you're in a pinch...Just a radio call away if you ever need her...And you will.

That bein' said. She's been known to play hard to get. Plan accordingly.

That's all for now, Captain.

Not All Decisions Are Made in Battle

Hello again, Captain.

As you know, you are expected to lead your men into battle and make tough choices under pressure....But not every decision happens on the battle field.

Command means being in charge at all times. Just because bullets aren't flying doesn't mean you won't have tough decisions to make...

This is just one of the challenges that lie ahead of you, Captain.

Prepare yourself accordingly.

The Voices of Command

Authentic sound effects have been a top priority from the beginning. Just like the soldiers on the ground in WW2, players will be able to hear the difference between a U.S. M2 Heavy Machine Gun (50 cal) and a German MG42 (Hitler's Buzzsaw). They will even be able to hear the difference between a Panzer IV and a Sherman...Again, just like the men who heard these sounds on the war-torn fields of Europe.

As development continued, we realized that there was one type of sound we were missing...People.

So we decided to add voice overs. Like the vehicles and equipment in the field, each man under your command will have his own voice, his own personality, his own words.

We knew we needed help to do this right. So we found top-notch Voice Director, Maurice Suckling.

Maurice brings a vast amount of experience and expertise. We are very lucky to have him.

Please join us in welcoming Maurice to the Burden of Command team!

As always, thank you all for your support,
Rob
