Spring 2025 Update!

For starters - the FREE demo got updated! Tell your friends!

Level 2, the caves - got a slight rework, enemies were fixed or tweaked as well



Added to the intro - I show the player how to duck and charge their weapon!



Leto dashing got cleaned up! There is a new dust effect for it, too!



New test artwork got added in for feeding Alma carrots!


Bugfix - 1st boss's bullets were still being fired after death. Fixed that.
Bugfix - If I hook it up correctly, when a monster dies, their projectiles will, too
Bugfix - Game Over screen should be a bit less buggy
Bugfix - Music controller liked to restart music randomly. Hopefully I fixed it this time!
Bugfix - Kiki had a bug with giving a poster and not actually giving it out
Bugfix - George will grow properly and not glitch out when you tried to talk to him
Bugfix - the ribbon on the reactor won't disappear anymore

Updated the Demo!

Just got done with a convention and wanted to upload the build here to Steam. :)

Hope you enjoy! It's got a more streamlined first level that I've put a ton of time into!

Winter Update!

After a round of playtesting and feedback, I made some big changes to the plot to setup Kaiden as the big bad much more early! You'll see him in the lava fields, for starters!



Also, Issac will yell at you on Valuna, because he stowed away on Scylla's shuttle!



Oh, and Scylla leaves the party a bit earlier on the ship.




Issac is also present earlier when you find Zaanlith on the ship.



Also, I also added a flashback about Tabs before you face him down in the caves, so the player can be reminded of who the "big scary guy" is.



OTHER THINGS ::

Valuna got a glowup!

Fixed a major bug where cameras would zoom in on start. Now it just snaps to where it should be on load. There is also a brief black screen when the game first starts to hide weird setup stuff.

The menu also got a round of bugfixes - music levels are more balanced out! Also, removed some old code that would open up the settings menu randomly...

Leto has a cute little star effect when she lands. Isn't that cute?

Oh yeah I updated to Unity 6. YAY!

Next - I lied about Steam Achievements - those come latter. For next, I'm fixing the music controller, and either focusing on the caves OR fixing more of the aberration ship. We'll see how I'm feeling. Getting there!

November Update is HERE!

Howdy y'all! It's a small update, but wanted to keep in the groove of more regular updates as we prepare for final release and/or publisher shopping. :)

Lava level got a glowup. Say hello to the Molten Toxins!



Added this new friend. Also messed with this level a bunch, too!


Scylla's bullets were redesigned. Wanted to make them more fun, and mimic Gilbert's bullets.


Xer had a better idle animation. Because the old one drove me crazyyyyyy

Lots of audio work. Remember how this enemy screamed when you killed it? Yeah, I fixed that.


Rainbow text doesn't hit the that icky dark blue anymore.

Some other bug fixes - the game was saving in slot 3 for some stupid reason, old dialog would flash for a single frame, the white flash when the dust dragon first lands was removed

Next - more audio work, dialog fixes, bug fixes, steam achievements

September 2024 Update is HERE!

Trying to keep into the swing of things, so have another update!

Biggest thing was the entire Music Controller was rewritten. It shouldn't skip anymore. If there is a section not playing music, let me know and I'll be sure to fix it. This also fixed the "start loud then set to the correct music setting", too!


New Level Start UI!

Logo screen plays a jingle, now.

Default the audio to setting the music a bit quieter.

Fixed the settings menu to actually set the resolution/window on start. Literally the wrong setting, 2-second fix. Lol.


New sounds - Item drop audio replaced, belly dysaurs, switching weapons, Alma makes chirps now, victory and gameover jingles, Boss 2, jellycats meow

Fixed the weird bug where items would follow Leto but never be picked up

Press UP on the dialog pad to start dialog


Next - more audio work for cutscenes/levels
