Paladin, a brave knight in the body of a child



Greetings Captains,

Each class of MISTOVER has unique personalities and stories. We've prepared various concepts and stories in the development phase and we wanted to share some of behind scenes.

First and foremost, our favorite knight Paladin!


[h3]Paladin[/h3]
  • Characteristic: She protects other party members safely with her defensive skills including Taunt, Guard, and Healing skills.
  • Expedition Skill: Paladin's Obstacle Breaker can create new paths by breaking any obstacles or treasures without losing health.


Paladin was originally a valiant knight from the monastery fighting against evil and heathen pagan.

One day, she was cursed by a foul trick of a demon and now stuck in the body of a small child. Even though she looks like a child, she still considers herself as a brave knight who defeated numerous enemies. So she always fights on the front lines carrying her huge shield.

She is kind of arrogant and hates to be treated as a child. That might be the reason she hates cute things including clothes.
She's been through tough battles and older in real life, sometimes she shows old manly characteristics.

Upcoming [MISTOVER x Guilty Gear] collaboration DLC preview



Greetings Captains!

The physical edition of the MISTOVER X Guilty Gear collaboration DLC "Dr. Faust's Otherworldly Adventure" has been released in Asia and the DLC will be released globally real soon!

In the "Dr. Faust's Otherworldly Adventure", you can find Guilty Gear's "Faust" in the "Wandering Dr. Faust's Forest" dungeon that is filled with comedy and lunacy. Make sure to get into a wonderful and exciting adventure with Dr. Faust!

[h2]"Gameplay Settings" Added[/h2]
  • You can turn On/Off specific gameplay settings when you start a new game or during your existing game.
  • To adjust the gameplay settings in the middle of the gameplay, go to "Menu" > "Gameplay Settings" in Town. You can find more specific options in there.
  • The Difficulty Level which shows the approximate level of difficulty will be displayed in the upper left corner during your expeditions and battles.



[h2]Battle Improvements[/h2]
We improved some corps crews' skills and monster formations to give you more interesting battle experiences.

[h3]Corps Crew skill improvements [/h3]
  • Added useful effects on some skills that were relatively inefficient.


[h3]Monster Formation Improvements[/h3]
Adjusted monster formations to make more fast-paced battles:
  • In the first dungeon "Misty Forest", monsters will no longer appear in the third column.
  • The chances of having more than two monsters on the third column have been reduced in all dungeons.
  • Adjusted some monster formations so that it's easier to use Cooperative Skills to attack multiple monsters.


[h3]Boss Monsters' Abnormal Statuses[/h3]
Removed some boss monsters' resistance to certain abnormal statuses in order to increase the effectiveness of debuff/mesmerize skills, and to allow strategic approach to boss battles.

  • Hive Mind
  • Lord Frost


[h2]Bug Fixes[/h2]
  • Fixed an issue where some Korean voices cut out.

Steam Workshop Support

We've mentioned that we're considering to support the "Steam Workshop", however during the development process we altered the overall direction to make the "Gameplay Settings" where each player can edit the specific game settings as they want.

Although the Gameplay Settings are a bit different feature from Steam Workshop, please kindly understand that our goal is to provide the same gameplay experience in all platforms by adding the Gameplay Settings.

We will constantly update the Gameplay Settings based on your feedback!

Update Preview: Gameplay Settings and Battle Improvements



Greetings, Captains!

We are bringing good news for you, additional update!
The main focus of the updates are "Gameplay Settings" and "Battle Improvements".

[h3]Gameplay Settings[/h3]
We've had many balance tweaks since our initial release, but we wanted to give you the opportunities to make changes on your own. Why don't you edit MISTOVER as you like?
  • You can turn on or off specific gameplay options such as Doomsday Clock, Revealing map, and controlling all sorts of abnormal statuses/movement.
  • The "Difficulty Score" which shows approximate level of difficulty will be displayed in the upper left corner during your "Expeditions" and "Battles". (Even if you have same Difficulty Score, the difficulty can be differentiated based on your Difficulty level (Easy/Normal/Hard) and options you edited.)

[h3]Battle Improvements[/h3]
We're planning to improve the monster formations and some corps crews' skills so that players can feel more strategic and fast-paced battles.

Monster formations
  • Sometimes there have been issue that in the early phase, monsters located in the third column are hard to hit thus leading to a bit tedious battle.
  • Therefore, we will fix so that monsters would not appear in the third column in the first dungeon, and also the chances of having monsters in the third column will be reduced in other dungeons.
Corps Crew skill improvements
  • Useful effects will be added to some skills that were relatively inefficient.
  • Example 1) Paladin's Provoke: a SPD increas buff will be added in order to give her an opportunity to act after provoking enemies.
  • Example 2) Ronin's Swallow Counter: The chance of being attacked will also increase when Damage Reflection is applied. So, more monsters can take damages.
