Mist Survival - Development Roadmap

Hello everyone and welcome to the latest updated roadmap for the game. I am hoping this will give you all an idea of where development is being focused and my plans through to the end of 2018:

#Game version : 0.1.x

This version is all about bug fixing and getting the various gameplay mechanics balanced. I won’t be adding any new content for this version as I want to ensure the game as it stands provides a solid foundation as I move forward. Of course this does not mean everything will be set in stone during this version but it is the primary focus.

#Game version : 0.2.x

This version is where new gameplay mechanics and new content will be added. To give you an example of upcoming content this version of the game will introduce the mining mechanic as well as two new breeds of infected, the ‘Berserker’ and the ‘Tank’.
In short I’ll be bringing in the following additional content throughout this phase of development:

  • New map location : To include a mine
  • New gameplay mechanic : Fully functional mining system
  • Additional craftable items: New tools, survival equipment and craftable building parts
  • A new weapon type: The hunting rifle
  • New infected: The ‘Berserker’ and the ‘Tank’.


#Game version : 0.3.x

This version will focus heavily on advancing the survival systems and adding gameplay variety with the addition of new fauna types, along with the addition of a farming element:

  • New wildlife: Deer and wolves
  • New gameplay mechanic: Fully functional fishing system
  • New gameplay mechanic: Fully functional crop system
  • New gameplay mechanic: Fully functional traps. To include fish and bear traps.

# Feature

- Suicide Option.
- Being able to press ESC to exit the menu
- increase in car horizon view Limit from 65 Degree -> 135

- Sugar farm : Drop from zombie, bandit
- Can food new expire date.
- Animal hide will no longer dry on 'Drying rack', Only dry on 'Tanning Rack' (if you take it from the drying rack you can't put it back again)

- Water Barrel Status bug, not being able to climb ladders.
- if you drag it to your inventory pop out a sign that say "Loot time 20 minutes" and then you click again somewhere the sign disappear but you cant drag somthing
- CAR : ride without use of fuel, press Hold W then turn engine off

- Keybinding :: (now fully support all input action)
- Dupplicate hostage NPC (Only effective when start new game)
- Bear Butcher Bug (Can't stop butcher .. Negative value)
- Flying glitch (physic object grab)

- Loot Respawn (Only Resouce/Item that appears on the ground, and this will active only one time after day 10. - - i will remove this feature after release 0.2.xx. Because in the new version. There will be Mining System you will be able to mining materials to craft other many material.)
- Car battery no longer drain durability. (Only crash will lost durability)
- Increase meat, bear corpse, life time
- Game no longer auto save after revive

- respawn button stopped working after base stopped being set
- got 2 of the same name survivor the second one didnt come to base,

** I Do apologize for Looting Respawn System, I spent a lot of time for a critical swimming bug. I Have to prostpone another system and bugs (In Draw List) to the next version.
