Alaloth: Champions of The Four Kingdoms News

Alaloth 1.2 is here with our latest free update!

Hello Champions!

We’re excited to finally unveil Balefire, Update 1.2 for Alaloth: Champions of The Four Kingdoms. As you know, throughout the year we’ve alternated content-heavy updates with patches focused on revamping systems and adding features requested by the community. Balefire sits right in the middle: a wealth of new things to play through, while also laying new foundations for what’s coming next.
A NEW CAMPAIGN
The core of Balefire is claiming Aethrakar, a single, dangeours FA designed as a relentless gauntlet of challenges. Just pure, brutal, fights through one of the harshest trials ever introduced in Alaloth. But this is not just a gauntlet. It is the stage for a new piece of lore linking elves, orcs, and an ancient threat long thought forgotten. When the Tempest tore through Plamen, its cataclysmic surge awakened something buried for ages, an ancient evil sealed away by an unlikely alliance of elven wardens and orcish shamans. The seal that kept this force dormant was bound to an old temple lost to time. No maps remembered it, no chronicles mentioned its name.
But with the Tempest’s upheaval, the temple has reappeared, torn from the shadows and pulled violently back into Plamen. A cursed domain forged by the ancient demon now clawing its way back into the world. A new questline than, a new ancient demon, a unique and terrifying foe to fight!
THE FIRST SEED OF THE UPCOMING DLC
Among the new additions you’ll also find Ironbrand Watch, a location that is far more than it first appears. It’s a gateway, the very first piece of Alaloth’s first DLC. We’ve been working on it for a while, but it’s not time for an official announcement yet. We want the right stage for that.
Still, we can reiterate what we hinted at before: Alaloth’s world will continue to grow, and 2026 is shaping up to be a big year.
ABOUT 2025. AND BEYOND!
Some time ago we also mentioned a possible console version, which we had initially hoped to release in 2025. But making games is far more complex than it might look from the outside, and in the meantime we’ve been taking important steps to secure the best possible future for a world and an IP we deeply care about. Even with a short holiday break incoming, December will be a busy month of work, setting us up to hit the ground running in the new year.

So what can you expect going forward?
 • New free updates
 • A large batch of extra contents
 • A full DLC with a massive campaign
 • The console version
…and maybe a new project?

Stay tuned! Announcements are coming sooner rather than later!
CELEBRATING BALEFIRE WITH ALALOTH'S FIRST VERTICAL SALE!
To celebrate Balefire and the first anniversary of the 1.0 release, we’ve put together the first-ever vertical sale dedicated entirely to Alaloth, launched alongside the update, with a tasty 40% discount for the occasion, lasting the whole month, and including the upcoming Winter Sale. This is our way of thanking you for an incredible year of support. We hope you’ll enjoy Balefire, and as always, we’re reading your feedback every single day.

Just a sincere thank you and hints of what’s coming next!

Hello Champions!

Today marks the first anniversary of Alaloth’s full release. It’s a special milestone, but we’re choosing to celebrate it in a slightly different way.

Usually, anniversaries come with big events, loud announcements, and all sorts of fireworks. This time, however, we’re keeping things deliberately low-key. Part of it is simply who we are: we’ve always preferred letting the work speak for itself. Another part is tied to reasons we can’t fully reveal just yet, but soon. Over the years, we’ve communicated constantly and openly with our community. Recently, that communication has slowed down a bit, even though development has never stopped for a moment. Massive updates have continued to land, systems have been reworked, and the game has grown far beyond its original frame. Behind the scenes, even more has been happening.

Balefire, our next major update and the beginning of version 1.2, is ready and fully tested. You can expect it in the first half of December, we’re very close now. And Balefire is only the first step.
What we want to say today is simple: there are many surprises ahead, and 2026 will be a defining year, one in which we will finally be able to reveal the full future of Alaloth.

For now, all we can offer is our sincere thanks, to everyone who has traveled across Plamen with us, supported us, and believed in what we’re building.

Thank you, and share the love!

A new free update emerges from the ashes!

Hello Champions!

It has been some time since our last major communication following the release of Sigil and Alaloth 1.1, and while the summer months may have appeared quiet, the truth is that work has never slowed. Behind the scenes, we’ve been busy shaping the next steps for the game, and now the time has come to share a glimpse of what lies ahead.

The most immediate news is the arrival of Balefire, which is now deep in development and approaching release. We don’t yet have a final date to share, but it will not be long before it is announced. Expect meaningful QoL improvements and a significant round of balancing based directly on the feedback you’ve provided since 1.1. Alongside this, a host of small tweaks and fixes will smooth out the experience even further. The update will bring Alaloth to its 1.2 version and will introduce a brand-new quest line, that brings with it fresh lore, unique items, and an entirely new FA to uncover. The update will also mark the introduction of Ironbrand Watch, a border stronghold within the Triarchy. Ironbrand Watch will serve as the gateway to a brand-new playable area, one that is directly connected to the first DLC for Alaloth. We cannot reveal more just yet, but those who have followed our progress closely will know that this has long been in motion, and today we are pleased to confirm it outright.

Beyond these additions, work is steadily continuing on the console versions of the game, a long-awaited milestone that is drawing closer with each passing week. So while the past weeks may have seemed like a lull, they have in truth been the calm before the storm. Balefire is nearly upon us, and with it comes not only new challenges and stories, but also the opening of doors to even greater horizons.

Thank you as usual for your love & support, join us on Discord to get the latest news about the development. More to come in the next days!
