Full Release Update | Patch #4 | V1.1.7997.29304

Greetings, survivors!

We've just released the fourth Patch for our full release version of Endzone. Once again, we focused on fixing bugs, tweaking stuff and improve your overall experience with the game. Please keep reporting bugs, giving us your valuable feedback and posting your great suggestions whether to Discord or the Steam discussions!

 • Buildings: Factory Unit now only shows resources missing if none requested resources are available.
 • Buildings: Fixed that the beacon was not properly disconnecting from the power grid when the grid is overloaded while powering it on.
 • Buildings: Fixed field of influence bonus of irrigation plant not resetting when starting a new game from a running session.
 • Demands: The demand in “More than survival” which requires the player to provide soap now also asks the player to provide stew, in order to be aligned with what is written in the text.

 • Buildings: Factory Unit now displays a list of boostable buildings and indicates which buildings are currently boosted.
 • Scenarios: Several scenarios now allow the triggering of the Town Hall mission, so you can experience prosperity content while playing older scenarios.
 • Resources: Settlers now gain happiness & health when consuming soap.

 • Buildings: Implemented notification for scrapyards & forester lodges that triggers as soon as those buildings have an empty work area.

 • Buildings: Fixing a minor inconvenience with the resource selection overlay on pastures.
 • Buildings: Kitchen now only shows missing resources when resources are actually missing. Additionally, it also highlights missing water separately.
 • Buildings: Deconstructing roofed fields no longer leads to an invisible rectangle unaffected by rain.
 • Buildings: Prioritising the repair of a building now only leads to Builders being assigned there first and no longer the workers of the building.
 • System: Mystic shadows that appeared above lakes were banished.
 • Scenarios: Followup missions for "More Than Survival" now only triggers if you have exactly 0 Greenhouses/Aquafarms.
 • System: Planning Mode is now correctly resetting after starting a new game.
 • Research: Starting a new session now correctly resets the techtree.
 • UI: Fixed tooltips, being able to go outside the screen bounds.
 • Expeditions: Expedition Post now shows the correct occupant list, so you can see what your settlers are doing.
 • Expeditions: Expedition Post now displays production progress for expedition rations.
 • Missions: "Dead Bodies on Our Streets" mission should no longer trigger if the player has the "Immunity" decree active, since failing the quest triggers an illness.
 • System: STOMTs now upload a recent save game, if available, when sending feedback.
 • System: Fixed resetting the game speed to default instead of previous speed, when the STOMT dialogue window is opened.
 • Terrain: Removed empty lakes from terrain that prevented placement of buildings.

 • Buildings: The resources UI of a building now indicates whether resources in the vicinity are not collected due to their production limit being reached.
 • Buildings: Resources that reached their max cap are no longer highlighted as missing, if other resources to pick up are missing.
 • Buildings: Clicking on a Guard Tower with missing resources warning no longer clears the missing-flag. The disappearing after a click was confusing.
 • Buildings: Enabled shadows for several buildings that were missing shadows (Guard Tower, Barricades, Siren Tower and more).
 • Buildings: Buildings that can only be placed once will show their tooltip again, but don't show the needed resources, instead of hiding the tooltip completely.
 • Settlers: Settlers are now taking less processing power when trying to get resources that are currently not available. This should fix the extreme lag in savegames with large settlements.
 • System: Switched back to the "Mono scripting" backend for better unofficial mod support.

Endzone – A World Apart: Halloween. A free DLC with The Great Old One, and more!

Survivors!

Today marks the release of our free all new Halloween DLC for Endzone - A World Apart! It introduces 14 additional decorative items, giving you the option to bring a darker theme to your settlement - as well as a little something your settlers can eagerly worship!
Important Information:
This DLC is available indefinitely, not just during Halloween Season! So if you forgot to check in during Halloween, don’t worry! The content will still be there to enjoy.

Additionally, the new decorative items don’t just look spookily great, but are also tied to Endzone’s game mechanics for decorative items and increase your settlement’s attractiveness (looks like your settlers really like eerie stuff, huh…)

If you are not a fan of Halloween, all DLC content can also be disabled manually by deselecting the DLC in your Steam options.
New additions:
Will the Great Old One bring salvation to the post-apocalyptic world of Endzone?

Well, this is something way above our understanding. However, your settlers are now able to build a statue of the “The Great Old One” to worship this cosmic deity in all its glory! Of course, we wanted to keep it real: It must be placed in the water, close to the shore of your settlement!
Once the construction is completed, you’ll see your settlers eventually start worshiping at the altar - which is in their own best interest.

As a side note, if you got your hands on the recently released Prosperity expansion, the new Pumping Station can free up some of your workforce, so your people should have enough spare time to pray to the Great Old One, so at least he won’t end this world once and for all!
Yet, there’s much more to discover:
We not just added a statue of the Great Old One, but 13 additional themed decorations on top. These decorations have an impact on your settlement’s attractiveness, just like regular decorations. It’s a win-win situation: Fantastic new decorations that actually help you, making your settlers happy (weirdly enough) by increasing attractiveness in their vicinity!
Among many others you can find:
PumpkinsTotal cliché; no Halloween without pumpkins!

The Grim Reaper? - It’s dark times we’re in, it can’t get worse, can it?

ScarecrowTo keep the fields safe from ravaging birds...and cheeky kids? Safe bet.

Hanging Cage?A reminder that even though the world almost ended, there are rules to follow. Punishment is to be expected when stepping out of line.

Gargoyle?Definitely! Scary looking, but actually a guardian of your settlement. – Well not literally guarding your settlement, as raiders could still sneak past them, but hey...Gargoyles are cool!

And SO MUCH MORE decorations, giving you the great opportunity to change the overall appearance of your settlement! Great fit for Halloween Season and beyond.

The free Halloween DLC will automatically be activated if you own Endzone - A World Apart. We hope that it brightens not just your settlers' day, but yours as well. Thank you for your ongoing support!

All-New “Prosperity” Expansion for Endzone - A World Apart Now Available!

Today, we, both teams of Assemble Entertainment and Gentlymad Studios, are thrilled to announce the launch of Endzone - A World Apart: Prosperity, now available here on Steam.

The release is paired with a fresh trailer showcasing the expansion's new features, as well as some of the luxuries in which the survivors can now partake.
Prosperity isn’t just a title — after carving out a home in this ruined world, surviving through toxic rain, sandstorms, and even attacks from their fellow man, settlers can finally enjoy some of the finer things in life...like soap!

With over 350,000 units sold on Steam and GOG and 4,000 positive Steam reviews, we are proud to release this highly anticipated expansion.
With new freedoms come new challenges, as players now not only have to tend to a resident’s needs but also their wants. The new generation isn’t simply content with surviving, but instead, thriving. Adding to the game’s realism, this expansion will have players strategize in different and demanding ways, planning out community decisions with more than just survival in mind. Citizens will want their Town Center upgraded into a proper City Hall and ultimately, the residents will eventually request the construction of a long-lasting building as a shining example of all the progression and accomplishments: The Beacon.
Prosperous Times
With the Prosperity expansion bringing fresh luxuries like beer, cake, coffee, and soap, players might forget that the previous threats haven’t just disappeared. Along with the comfort items, the expansion also brings new resources like sand, concrete, metal, and cement for upgraded building construction. Utilize the new supplies to protect the community from the still present threats of toxic rain, violent sandstorms, savage raiders, and the ever-looming threat of radiation. Though, once the settlement has been fortified, they’ll be free to put up their feet with a nice cup of coffee — they’ve earned it.
