【Stable version】VirtualCast ver1.9.3h release

  • Changed the background of ring menu and context menu to be opaque to reduce load.
  • Shrank the size of the ring menu and the context menu.
  • Direct view joiners can no longer talk.
  • You can now choose from the ring-menu whether or not characters bob up-and-down while walking.
  • You can no longer join official studios with direct-view mode.
  • Changed the hierarchy of [User Height] in the ring-menu.
    • Moved from [System] > [Motion filter] > [Parameter Settings] > [User Height] to [System] > [User Height]
  • Added the same spawn/delete sound effects as preset items to when a custom item is spawned or deleted.
  • You can no longer attract preset items that are spawned by players other than yourself.
  • A studio owner can now lock or unlock the position of VCI items spawned by players other than the owner themself.
  • The [Yes] button is now on the right side of THE SEED ONLINE integration dialog.

[h2]Improvements[/h2]
  • Now, you can attract items and custom items toward you by using ring-menu.
    • [Item] > [Attract]
    • [Custom Item] > [Attract]
  • Now, your height will be estimated and saved on the first calibration.
  • The calibration is now done based on the user height setting when changing an avatar. For this reason, please make sure to set your height.
    • If you want your avatar to stand while you are seated in reality, you have to change your height setting.
    • This feature is planned to be improved in future updates.

  • Reduced the computational load of the movie capture item when it is not recording.
  • Changed the behavior of the context menu to follow the movement of the player to improve usability.
    • Added a line to indicate which item the context menu is opened for.

  • Fixed the issue where locations and items placed permanently on official studios didn't load properly in certain cases.
  • Fixed the issue where the maximum number of direct-viewers was not distinguished from the number of usual performers.
  • Fixed the issue where the rich-text format was usable on the rooms list.
  • Fixed the issue where user icons for SHOWROOM users were not acquired properly.
  • Fixed the issue where your change in the visibility of items whose ownership you don't have was not in sync with other players.
  • Fixed the issue where nicolive cruise comments were not spawning properly.
  • Fixed the issue where the movie capture item was not working properly in the environment where the name of the Windows user account contains multi-byte characters.
  • Fixed the issue where button names in the attract list for custom items were incorrect.
  • Updated the SteamVR controller bind setting for Cosmos controller
    • You can now walk and change facial expressions by just tilting the joysticks.
    • You can now use the items by pressing the grip button.
  • Fixed the issue where FastSpringBone was not working properly in some models.
  • Fixed the issue where models were not loadable when FastSpringBone is disabled.
  • Fixed minor issues.

The version of VCI is now v0.29.

[h3]New features[/h3]
  • You can now specify spawn points for players in VCI locations.
  • The join and leave notification of direct viewers is now acquirable from VCI.
  • Added the scale and position settings for attachable VCI.

  • Enlarged the FPS display on the debug console and shortened the refresh interval.

[h3]Bug fixes[/h3]
  • Fixed the issue where arguments of types.lua were not exported correctly.
  • Fixed the issue where moving a grabbable VCIPlayerSpawnPoint on y-coordinate direction resulted in users joining the studio from then on to spawn on the moved y-coordinate.
  • Fixed the issue where VCI items with its RigidBody's [Constraints Freeze Position] set could be pulled using hand laser.
  • Fixed the issue where some mp3 data couldn't be played.
  • Fixed the issue where the function vci.assets.HapticPulseOnTouchingController was not working properly in VCI.
