A WELCOME EMERGENCY - Patch 0.7.6.2

This is the patch that will lead to the major update scheduled in a few weeks - stay tuned for more teasers on that.
The primary goal for these in-between patches is to solve bugs, balance and implement a ton of smaller things. However, for this patch we have also decided to add a new, highly requested, mechanism that we hope will add additional dynamics to the gameplay. Read more about it below.

We have seen that the meta in the game sometimes is to run around in a big blob which can make life unnecessarily frustrating for the personoids. The new Emergency Event introduced in an experimental stage in this patch is an attempt to split up the players and can occur randomly in all major levels.

How does it work? When the Emergency Event, Gas Leak, occurs the players have 1 minute to locate and repair 2 marked objectives. The repair time for each objective is based on the amount of players participating - The more players collaborating the faster the gas leaks are repaired. If they succeed Residents will be granted Progression Score. If they fail all Residents will succumb to the emergency and Personoids win the game.
The Emergency Event is still very much a work in progress so we would appreciate all the feedback you can give us on our Discord. The visual design of the Gas Leak will also be revised when we know more about the exact functionality and placement of the events.
BIO VISION UPGRADE: As Alithea gets more items and objectives to keep track of we felt the personoids needed a small upgrade to ease navigation. The new and improvoed Bio Vision comes with tweaked effects and now shows more objects, including icons. CUSTOMIZATION UNLOCK EFFECTS: We added some more flair and panache to the screen when you level up and acquire new customization options. Now you should see a visual representation of the item pop up during the game.
LOBBY CHAT: We have seen multiple requests for enabling text chat in the lobby and we are happy to finally be able to deliver on this. We hope this will help make the setup and start of each game easier to go about.

In the last update we introduced our registration and linking to our Publisher Versus evil, which would move customization and saves to the cloud. The goal of the registration is to create a system that would allow the player to have their settings no matter where they play from. We know that a lot of people have had issues with their customization and this should hopefully alleviate some of those issues. We still have some ways to go, but we are actively at work fixing all these migration issues.

To help fix all these issues we have added a crash reporter that you can use whenever you experience a hard crash. Please fill out as much information as possible as that really helps us out making it a better game.
We hope that you will enjoy the effort and work we put into this update. The entire changelist can be found below.
As always, thank you for taking part in this journey with us!
Sincerely,
The entire Invisible Walls team
