He was opposed by Boris, the Guardian Spirit of the land, though the details of their confrontation have been lost to time.[/p][p]Was it an epic battle of steel and sorcery? A shadow war of subterfuge and trickery? Or perhaps even uneasy diplomacy that turned the tide?
