Re.Poly V0.8.0 Hotfix 2

Hey there girls and guys.

Long time not heard and I am sorry that I am not that present in these days.

Some of you posted a lot of bugs and I have fixed a lot of them. I hope you will like it

The next update will be a content update which brings new stuff into the game so stay tuned :)



V 0.8.0 Hotfix 2


Additions:


+ Added: Medium Backpack (Extends your inventory to a total of 32 slots)
+ Added: Big Backpack (Extends your inventory to a total of 42 slots)
+ Added POI - Animal Barn Farm
+ Added Setting for adjusting the grass density to save some Performance
+ Added big storage chest
+ Added dust effect for using the shovel on the Ground
+ Added Built Part: Roof Ridge


- Removed: Clay actors from the pine forest and tropical lands
- Removed: Annoying tutorial popup boxes

Changes:

- Changed: Reduced twig building parts stick Needs
- Changed: Rain effects will only be present on pathways to reduce overall blending
- Changed: Clay will be obtained with a shovel digging the pine forest or tropical lands ground like it is with earth in the green lands
- Changed: Limited the meteors to a maximum of 6 meteors at the same time. As long as 6 meteors are present there will be no new spawn.
- Changed: Critical Damage (Headshots) with arrows is raised to 2,5 - 3 times the damage of an arrow
- Changed: The chance that apple trees will give you apples is raised to 60% per tree
- Changed: Hitting building parts or stations with a hammer will repair the object when the needed resources are in the inventory


Fixes:

- Fixed: It is not possible to deselect the secondary hotbar slot (for example shield or torch)
- Fixed: Deselecting a weapon while holding a shield or torch will deselect the torch/shield as well
- Fixed: Fence and fence post still need nails to build
- Fixed: It is raining too much
- Fixed: Troll weapon rotation
- Fixed: AI torches are placed underneath them while nighttime
- Fixed: Green lands bush has a false respawn mesh
- Fixed: Current items will not be updated in the research table window
- Fixed: Gathering ressources from Breeding animals will not drop the items when your inventory is full
- Fixed: Very low LOD details in the village houses
- Fixed: Armor stand is still showing equipment parts even if they don't be attached (Multiplayer)
- Fixed: Skeletton Knight do not attack
- Fixed: Breeding Animals are constantly sleeping
- Fixed: Animals still makes their sounds even if they are dead
- Fixed: Breeding Animals disappearing when being far away from them, saving the game and loading it
- Fixed: Walking and running animations are too static (They are more dynamic now)
- Fixed: Battlemage stance do not shoot the fireball or the ice shard
- Fixed: When starting a game only the one armed punch is possible
- Fixed: Using water drinking items like the watering skin or the water bottle, via right click and use, will change you current equipped weapon/tool to an empty water bottle
- Fixed: Skeleton Knight sometimes T-Posing when getting hit
- Fixed: Eating a cactus will fill up the thirst to 100%
- Fixed: Reincarnated mounts will not be saved and loaded (Poorly you have to reincarnate them again 😦 )
- Fixed: Small candle can not be placed on all objects
- Fixed: Campfire, Cooking pot and oven do not produce coal after a game is loaded
- Fixed: The Ship has wrong LOD Levels
- Fixed: Monsters do not deal damage on dedicated Servers
- Fixed: When a player jumps off a cliff it will go into flying mode on dedicated servers or multiplayer sessions
- Fixed: Shields do not work properly and do not drop durability when Blocking
- Fixed: Yldrig sounds like a horse instead of a deer
- Fixed: Corrected some roadside lootboxes positions that were reported in the pine forest
- Fixed: Wolf foot trace is buggy
- Fixed: Pressing the reload button while in the inventory menu will cause the mouse cursor to disappear
- Fixed: Chicken coop will not breed chickens properly
- Fixed: Trolls and orks do not give you exp after defeating them
- Fixed: The Copper battleaxe and mace is missing in the smith shop
- Fixed: You can not craft anything in the fruitpress because it will not recognize the water bottle
- Fixed: The repairable portal that leads to the tropical forest is not being repaired after loading the game. (You have to repair it again for future saves to work)

Performance and bottlenecks

Hey there girls and guys,

Some of you told me that even with good computers there are framedrops and I have checked everything out to see what is causing the issue.

It is nothing that is graphics related this is very clear by all of my tests.

Here are the bottlenecks to get you informed where I will do my focus next:

- The AI is causing a huge impact and I have to do some reworking there
- When the player is moving, frames also drop a bit

Not much but a huge impact is coming from those things and I will work on them now.

Dirext X11 issues finally fixed

Hey there girls and guys.

The Direct X11 error is finally fixed and you can play as usual.

Important: If you play on direct X11 you have to set the new "Lightning Method" setting to none to improve Performance since Lumen is a feature for Direct X12


Sorry that you had to wait so long to play, but now you can finally do it.

I fixed some bugs and the direct X11 issues should be solved as well as the performance issues.

I am sorry that I made a big mistake with this in the last update and hope you like what you see.

Additions:

+ Added graphics option: Lightning method (You can select between Lumen and normal lightning method. Using the normal lightning method removes the darkness out of caves and indoor and is less realistic)
+ Added: Titan Ingot (Blast Furnace)



Changes:

- Changed: Nails can be crafted in the anvil too
- Changed: Wooden Club, Campfire and simple bed are unlocked by default to give you a better start
- Changed: Resources will be gathered when a tree/rock etc is fully destructed
- Changed fauna models to increase performance



Fixes:

- Fixed: Direct X11 players have huge performance hits
- Fixed: Direct X11 is not supported
- Fixed: Chinese language has no letters
- Fixed: Female Fiber Hat bug (Floating in the air)
- Fixed: Taking equipment ou of a chest etc will add it to your inventory and still stay in the storage
- Fixed: If two or more players are open the research table and one is learning something it will refresh all player windows
- Fixed: Learning a blueprint in the Research table will set the window to the tools tab
- Fixed: When a mount is unlocked the mount is still listed to learn
- Fixed: Reincarnating a mount will not update the window correctly
- Fixed: When taking a shield on or off the quickbar you will notice a shield stucked to your character
- Fixed: AI is popping out the screen
- Fixed: Skeleton is T-Posing when getting hit
- Fixed: Glass foundation steps extension is made of stone instead of glass
- Fixed: Iron foundation steps extension is made of stone instead of glass

Direct X11 problems and performance issues

Hey there girls and guys.

The Direct X11 version of the game have a bad performance and some of you have informed me about it.
I am working on this issue right now so no worries you will be heard and I will find a solution for you. It will just take a little time.
