[0.15.6] Big rebalancing update!



[h3]Hello Interns![/h3]
With the Double the Fun Update release, we got some awesome feedback from the community. The goal of this update was to speed up early game so players can get to more enjoyable aspects, like automation and Morps management, more quickly. We reduced Electron requirements overall, so players won’t need to run back and forth between Electron Veins and their base as much. We also moved Gello requirements and production to later game to cut down standing around and waiting times. We’ve also increased mining speeds and improved production for early game Morps. Overall, the game should involve much less running around and be easier to get into! Check out the full list of changes here:

[h3]Researcher[/h3]
  • Improved prices: bunch of unlocks no longer require Electrons
  • Elevator pipe unlocks along with the Pump now
  • Gello Cooker research unlock is now cheaper
  • Bowl no longer requires Energy Cells to be unlocked
  • Simple Sprinkler no longer requires Gello to be unlocked
  • Cooking Pot no longer requires Water to be unlocked (requires Pebbles instead)
  • Unlocking second Well is easier now
  • Chest no longer requires Batteries to be unlocked
  • Gello Cooker research now requires Protons instead of Electrons
  • Extractor is cheaper to unlock now
  • Dispenser is cheaper to unlock now
  • Seeder requires less Leafs to be unlocked
  • Well no longer requires Electrons to be unlocked
  • First Emotes are easier to unlock now

[h3]Morps[/h3]
  • Young Red Morps and Red Morps produce more resources now
  • Blue Morps and Better Blue Morps produce more Protons now
  • Young Red Morps and Blue Morps require less Sugar to evolve
  • Tech Morps eat Energy Cells now (check your Areas with them!)
  • Pink Morps eat Tech Points now (check your Areas with them!)

[h3]Extractor Levels[/h3]
  • Level 1 is cheaper to unlock and no longer requires Gello
  • Level 2 is cheaper to unlock and no longer requires Knowledge Points
  • Level 3 is cheaper to unlock

[h3]Questing[/h3]
  • Reorganized quests to start with automation sooner

[h3]Other[/h3]
  • Social Quest "Bring me Fruits" requires 1 entity instead of 5 now
  • Speed of manual gathering was reduced (Morp production was improved instead)
  • Collecting resources from Chests is 4 times faster now
  • Gathering speed of logs is 2 times faster now
  • Gathering speed for other resources is now adjusted to have similar numbers
  • Gathering speed of farming Crops is 2 times faster now
  • Pick-up speed of Extractor is 2 times faster now
  • Well no longer requires Electrons to be build
  • Well generates water supply 2 times faster now, gathering speed for water from Well is doubled too
  • Proton Deposits store 3 times more resources now
  • Proton Deposits are doubled at starting location
  • Rocks now contain less Pebbles inside
  • Storage size of Big Simple Chest is doubled now
  • Chest no longer costs Batteries to build
  • Production speed of Gello Cookers is doubled
  • Crafting of Uprooter and Terraforming Gadgets: prices are halved, output amount of gadgets doubled
  • Social Quests for Engineer and Mechanic are faster to get now
  • Reduced the amount of Electrons needed to build a bunch of different Tech
  • Added FOV slider in options
  • Building price for Farming Plot is decreased now
  • Chests can store Seeds now
  • Changed logic for Bowls: Simple Pumps now only count resources in Bowls and no longer count resources in the rest of the Area
  • Elevator pipe is cheaper to build now
  • Improved descriptions for some Tech
  • Improved Morp-Wiki descriptions for Blue Morps
  • Added new quest to build a Pump
  • Reduced Proton requirements for Tech
  • It's no longer required to build stairs for the quest

[h3]Fixes[/h3]
  • Fixed emote sounds in co-op
  • Fixed mask for some logs that didn't work properly (only affects new save files, old safe files are safe to play still)
  • Water Stove works properly now when placed near multiple grids
  • Soap Bubbles now properly affect other players
  • Soap Bubbles now show actions above the action bar
  • Seeder sounds in co-op are now fixed
  • Fixed position for picked entities in co-op
  • Landing for thrown entities should work properly nowin co-op
  • Fixed an issue where the right mouse button wouldn't work with action bar while the player is in building mode
  • After building pump, it now properly switches to building pipe
  • Morp sounds are no longer playing endlessly in co-op
  • Toys: playing ball works properly in co-op now
  • Player skin icons and colors are fixed now for farmer skins
  • Lost and Found chest can store seeds now
  • Pipes no longer duplicate in co-op
  • Feeding Morp after completing Social Quest should no longer break it
  • Replaced red error with orange warning on Chests
  • Error icon will now appear above Simple Chests if it is placed outside area
