The Archive, Morp-Hats, and More – Exciting Update Awaits!
Hello, Interns!
We have a bit more stuff to share with you before Time to Morp will be released from Early Access. From the archive mechanic and Morp-hats to new NPCs and reworked dialogues, there’s plenty to look forward to. Let’s dive into all the fresh content coming your way soon!
The Archive
The Archive is a new mechanic we're adding that lets you store collected resources like seeds, fish, and more to help future explorers! It'll extend gameplay for collectors and completionists while also expanding automation and rewarding players with emotes, skins, and decor.

Don’t forget to show off your rarest finds on a pedestals (newly added items) and flaunt your achievements. We'll try to add everything with the full release, but if not, it'll be available shortly after!
New: NPCs
To conclude the game’s story, we’re adding 2 new NPCs, each with their own backgrounds and issues that’ll need your help to solve!
Reworked Dialogues
We’re reworking not only dialogue UI, but we are also adding more lore and personality to each NPC!
Updated Cozy Look
We are improving several aspects of the game for a cozier look! New changes will include: reworked colors, new models, and revamped UI.
Morp-Hats!
A lot of you loved festive Morp-hats, so we’re expanding hats collection and turning it into a new mechanic — we want to let you craft hats and put them on your Morps yourself. And again, we'll try to add everything with the full release, but if not, it'll be available shortly after!
Bags of Goods
Sometimes, while doing activities like exploring, mining, fishing, and others, you'll have a chance to find bags of goods filled with rewards like recipes and resources — adding more excitement to the usual gameplay!
New: Seed Extractor
We’re adding tech to improve the farming experience and bring it closer to full automation! The seed extractor works like this: you feed it your harvest, and it recycles everything into random seeds — plus a little extra, allowing you to hunt for seeds you need and toss unwanted ones back into seed extractor!
New: Decor Extractor
Another new tech, this one lets you convert any resource into currency — this results in even more automation as you won't need to collect it manually. You can use this currency in NPC shops to buy decor and cool abilities!
Even More Lore
We’re adding even more quests that dive into the story of the world and its NPCs, letting you fully immerse in what's happening around you! No spoilers, though.

Exploration Improvements In Works
Hello, Interns!
We're back from the holidays, feeling refreshed and ready to share updates on what we're currently working on in Time to Morp! Today’s topic is all about exploration! We’re working to make it an exciting experience by adding world events, new vegetation, creating more places to dive into the lore, and plenty of other features. Let's see what's it's all about!
Story Ending
You’ll be able to discover a new island, where you can solve the main mystery and complete storyline...
More Lore
As you explore, you’ll stumble upon mysterious-looking huts and notes left behind all around the planet. Where are the hut villagers, what's their connection to Morps, who left the notes, and what do they mean? The answers lie further ahead!
World Events
We’re adding multiple different world events, giving players the chance to stumble upon them while exploring. Complete objectives like catching flowers, fetching resources and earn rewards!
Mushrooms
Mushrooms are the newest vegetation being added to biomes, introducing new gameplay elements and challenges for players to overcome. For example, mushroom that won’t let you build near its proximity, pushing mushroom, mushroom that teleports you away and more!
New Resources
We’re expanding the resource collection with new items you can find around the world, like salad, flowers, berries, and more. Use them mostly for cooking!
New SUPER Rare Resources
We’re adding uniques – super rare resources that can drop during activities like mining, terraforming, farming, and more. Uniques are very rare, but optional for you to get. There are more challenging resources for you to look out for!
Less Boring Terrain
We’re making the planet’s terrain less boring — with more cliffs, trees, mountains, herbs, and other details to enhance the planet’s overall look! Since terraforming will be free, this won’t be a problem and will actually add more gameplay variety. Plus, we’re actively working on improving the game’s colors for an even better visual experience!
Pipe Splitter - Live Now!
You’ve been asking for pump splitters to divide resources evenly between enclosures (and more) for a while now. We couldn’t add splitters directly to pumps due to technical limits, but we managed to find different solution! We’re testing it now to iron out all issues, so jump in and test it out with us more information in our Discord!

City Hub Soon & Holidays Special Now!
Hello, Interns!
Another blog post with updates on our work with Time to Morp is here! Today's topic covers a lot of changes related to miscellaneous activities in the game. We'll be talking about updates of Researcher and Extractor, improvements of terraforming mechanic, a new City Hub, and more changes related to multiple UIs and their functionality. And as a bonus, we’ll tell you about our special Holiday patch that will for sure boost your Holiday spirit! Sounds exciting, right? Let’s dive into all the details!
Tech Over Questing
We're making sure to create a smooth learning curve, which is why all the basic tech you'll need at the start of the game will be unlocked as you play to remove overall complexity!
Unrecognizable Researcher
We’re merging researches like Water Tech and Sprinklers into a single unlock, so (for example) all water automation tech becomes available at once. This reduces the number of unlockables in the Researcher, making the interface cleaner and easier to navigate!
New: The Lab
Gameplay will now focus more on The Lab (formerly Extractor). Before, The Lab offered optional rewards that could be easily skipped. Now, we’re making prices clearer and rewards more valuable, like inventory upgrades (moved from Researcher). You’ll also be able to use The Lab outside area, giving you the option to fully automate it or manually fill it from your inventory.
Improved Terraforming
Terraforming will be FREE! Smart targeting will also be easier, with a focus on Minecraft-like simplicity in digging. You’ll be able to terraform using new tools: a shovel for digging, a pickaxe for removing stones, an axe for trees, and shears for bushes. These will all be available early in the game, along with the Uprooter Gadget (for moving trees). The speed of tools and area of effect will be also upgradable by leveling up your NPC reputation. In addition to all, terraforming will occasionally drop rare resources!
New: City Hub
City Hub is a new entity you can build and level up by completing specific requirements! You’ll get more decor as rewards for leveling up the City’s Rank (or through NPC shops and world finds) instead of in the Researcher. As you level up, City's Hub model will also update. In the future, you’ll be able to name your City Hub once it hits certain rank. Leveling up will also unlock more city-specific decor, like a big fountain, park, mill, and more! We’re also moving optional quests, like "Build 20 roads," to the City Hub to keep things organized and less overwhelming.
And There are More Changes!
More changes we are working on include:
 • Standardized UI: all tech in game will have a consistent UI and functionality to avoid confusing players with multiple UIs across different tech.
 • Like The Lab, all tech will be fully automatable, with the option to use everything manually as well.
 • Chests: power won't be required. In the future, we plan to add filters for Chests (will work similar to Bowls), allowing players to specify exactly which resources they want Chests to pick up.
 • Cutscenes: almost all cutscenes (except the main ones) will be skippable! Plus, in co-op, you'll be able to watch most cutscenes alone without distracting your friends!
Holidays Special: Live Now!
If you update your game, adorable Morps with festive hats will be waiting for you to visit them!

Big Reputation Changes Ahead!
Hello, Interns!
We're not slowing down and are still hard at work improving Time to Morp and keeping you updated on the changes! Today’s topic will cover everything related to your reputation amongst Morps and NPCs — how we are making levelling up of it to be more integrated into the story, updated rewards, new optional events with NPCs, and more. Keep reading to learn all the details!
Level Up Reputation
Deliver food for Morps or NPCs to boost your reputation with them! You can even complete these tasks daily if you want, so no more waiting around. There will be an additional way to level up your reputation with Morps, picture this: you’re running through the forest, spot a sad Morp, pick it up, and suddenly a quest appears: “I’m sad, I need a hug, please!”
Useful Rewards
NPCs will reward you with better tools and more awesome abilities as you level up your reputation with them! Pretty awesome, right?
Shops
Want more than just the rewards NPCs offer? No problem! Each NPC will have their own shop where you can buy gadgets, rare resources, ingredients, and other unique items!
NPC Areas
Each NPC will want their own cozy space too, completed with fences and decorations to make it look pretty. It should really feel like a charming little village, with each house uniquely decorated and full of personality!
Better Reputation = More Lore
The better your reputation with an NPC is, the more they'll trust you and open up about themselves. Optional dialogues will be added for you to explore, giving more backstory on each NPC!
And There is More!
Here are some other changes we’re planning to add — hopefully right on time:
 • Level Up your reputation with NPCs by progressing through the main story — become a valuable team member and a respected Intern for all the hard work you’ve put in!
 • As you level up your reputation with each NPC, you’ll unlock more and more decor to personalize your space how you like!
 • Random events — NPCs might ask you to meet them at a bench to stargaze together, reminisce about the past, or maybe you’ll have to track down an Explorer hanging out on a cliff somewhere...
 • NPCs will start walking around if you build roads for them! It’ll make the world feel even more alive as they explore their surroundings
