The latest version brings improvements and new features based on player feedback and internal testing from the public test branch. Here's a comprehensive breakdown of the changes:
New Worker Type: Driver
- Transporter workers will no longer be responsible for handling car transportation.
- Added a new "Driver" worker type dedicated to car transportation tasks, now integrated into the tutorial for easier onboarding.
- Added the Employee Area UI, allowing you to assign workers to specific worker zones. Idle or resting workers will prioritize returning to their designated area.
- Worker assignment to Employee Areas is limited based on the objects within the zone. A new "Worker Assignment Capacity" item effect increases the number of workers that can be assigned to an area.
- Quality Station: Now clickable in Play Mode, allowing automatic car operations similar to the parking UI.
- Paint Station: Clickable in Play Mode for car color selection, with a color randomization toggle.
- Workers are now assigned tasks based on proximity to the task’s starting location.
- Refined transport logic to prioritize possible jobs based on distance and support various configuration methods.
- Transport jobs now repurpose unused parts from storage or dismantling workshops to prevent resource waste.
- Fixed some worker models and icons.
- Fixed a bug where bankruptcy would overwrite save files upon exiting to the main menu.
- Fixed issues in logistics related to looping and mismatches in ordered quantities.
- Fixed missing translations in automatic car operations for the parking UI.
