[Maintenance] Scheduled Maintenance Announcement - Awakening/Improvements

Hello, Heroes of Bermesiah!
We plan on having a scheduled maintenance for content updates.

1. New Character System 'Awakening' Update
- 'Awakening' for Ronan, Dio, Ley, and Decanee will be updated.
- Completing Awakening Missions will awaken the character. Players can unlock 2 new skills and a Core System.
- 'Awakening Stone of Freedom' and 'Awakening Stone of Transformation' will be added. This item can be acquired through the Awakening-exclusive dungeon 'Abyssal Path', Shop, or quests. It is used to unlock and use new skills and the Awakening Core System.

1) New Skill
(1) New 4th Bar Special Skill
- After Awakening the character, players can unlock and use the first Main Core from the Core System.
- Each character will have 1 additional skill. This special skill can be used with all jobs of the same character.
- Players must choose between the existing and new 4th Bar Special Skill for use.

(2) Awakening Special Skill
- After Awakening the character, players can unlock and use the second Main Core from the Core System.
- The Awakening Special Skill will be reinforced each time another Main Core is unlocked.
- Each character will have 1 additional skill. Players can register the skill to the new skill slot added to right of the existing skill slot.

- Awakening Special Skills can be used when the exclusive gauge is full. Players can charge the gauge by consuming MP. However, even if the gauge is full, the skill cannot be used while on cooldown.
- Awakening Special Skills are not affected by the 'Reduce Skill MP(AP) Consumption' and 'Reduce Skill Cooldown' stats.

2) Core System

- The Core System will be added to the Awakening Tab of the Skill Tree.
- The Core System consists of 4 Main Cores and 9 Support Cores.
- The Main Core provides skills related to the new special skill, and the Support Core provides stats.
- Players can use the 'Awakening Stone of Freedom' to unlock Cores in order.
- Unlocking a Support Core provides fixed stats, which can be reset within a specified range using the 'Awakening Stone of Transformation'.

3) Crafting for New Chase Coordi - Awakening Added
- Awakening Chase Coordi for Ronan, Dio, Ley, and Decanee will be added to the crafting list.
- Awakening Chase Coordi can be crafted using 300 'Chase Coordi Fragments'.
- Awakening Chase Coordi will be provided with Season 5 stats.

4) Bermesiah's Hero Collection - Awakening Added

- The 'Awakening' effect will be added to the 'Collections' category in Bermesiah's Hero Collection.
- This can be viewed in the tab to the right of the Lv. 85 effects. The Awakening effects are as follows.
- 1 Character (Vitality +1000) / 3 Characters: Critical Strike Damage +10% / 5 Characters: Critical Strike Chance +3% / 10 Characters: EXP +5%

- Awakening Chase Coordi for Ronan, Dio, Ley, and Decanee will be added to Chase Coordi Collection.
- Completing the collection will provide additional stats for the account.

5) Character Voice Overs
With the Awakening update, additional new Special Skill voices have been recorded for each language.
Please see below for more details on the changes.

(1) Improvements to Existing Character Voices
- Improved voices that had low quality or inconsistent volume.

(2) Added Portuguese Voices
- Portuguese voices for Amy, Sieghart, Veigas, Ronan, Dio, Ley, and Decanee will be added.
- The voices for other characters will be applied in additional updates, which will be announced at a later date.



1. Character Command Controls Improvements
- All learned skills will be reset due to various skill information changes for Dio and Ley.
- Please re-learn the skills that have been reset after maintenance for Dio and Ley.

1) Ronan
- Fixed and removed duplicate or incorrect command guides.
[Erudon Mode]
- Improved so that Hyper Armor (Dungeon)/Super Armor (PVP) is applied upon Erudon Mode.
[All Enchants]
- Reduced the delay in cancel window for the motion so that next motion can happen faster. (→→ or Z)

■ Spell Knight (1st Job)
[Combo Attack][Attack Up during Combo (Hit Up Lv1)][Dash Attack][Dash Air Combo][Jump Attack][Rune Magic][Use Additional Combo][Nature Attack]
- Fixed a bug where attack speed was reduced from the character being stunned when using certain command attacks.

- Improved so that all combo attacks chain to Critical or Double Attack.
[Use Additional Combo]
- Removed the 'Neutralize enemies' Super Armor on a chance' effect. Upgraded the damage and hitbox as a result.
- Unified attacks activated by inputting X during sword attacks as Rune Magic attacks.
- All attacks made during a sword attack activates the Rune Magic attack.
- Additional chains can be made using Double Attack after Rune Magic attack.
- Unified attacks activated by inputting Z during Rune Magic attacks as forward stabs.
- All attacks made during a Rune Magic attack activates the forward stab.
- Additional chains can be made using Double Attack after forward stab.
- Improved so that Z and X commands chain smoother.
[Double Attack]
- Added the double attack command.
[Rune Magic][Cast Rune Magic][Rune Dash]
- Improved so that MP is not consumed upon activation.

- Increased the movement distance of projectiles.
[Rune Dash]
- Improved to fire projectiles that move towards the front.

- Hyper Armor (Dungeon)/Super Armor (PVP) is applied for 0.5 seconds when using the Shield Strike-type attacks.

- Improved so that Critical is available from the first attack.
[Dash Attack]
- Improved so that the basic combo chain is available even when the enemy has not been hit.
- Changed so that the Rune Flare explosion activates for the Add Dash Attack.
[Close Jump Assist]
- Improved to jump faster for the reduced jump preparation time.
[Jump Attack]
- Improved to jump after a certain amount of time following a jump attack, allowing players to continue to the next action.
[Rune Flare]
- Added a damage that is applied near Ronan upon using the skill.
- Increased generated Rune charges to 2 upon using the skill.
- Increased maximum Rune charge generation limit to 6.
- Adjusted damage increase depending on Rune charges consumed upon using the skill.
[Erudon's Sword and Shield]
- 'Erudon's Sword and Shield' buff is applied to Ronan for 10 seconds upon using the skill. (Dungeon: Attack +10%, Hyper Armor/PVP: Attack +5%, Super Armor)

■ Abyss Knight (4th Job)

[Force Gather (Z↑)]
- Added hits surrounding Ronan when gathering Rune crystals.
[Dust Chip (Z↓ after Generating Rune Charges)]
- Increased the duration for installed summons to 4 seconds. (Before: 2 seconds)
- Increased the explosion damage for summons.

2) Dio
[Onrush LV1] [Onrush LV2] 
- Increased the basic damage upon skill use.
[Onrush LV1] [Onrush LV2] [Onrush Reduced AP Consumption]
- Fixed a bug where AP was occasionally consumed but no damage was dealt when using the skill.
- Fixed the basic structure of the Onrush skill to fix the bug. Increased AP Consumption for holding the skill for maintaining balance.
- Increased final damage relative to AP Consumption if Onrush is sustained.
- Fixed and removed duplicate or incorrect command guides.
[Power Marble][Time Marble][Spell Marble]
- Changed the Marble gauge increase condition from Technique hits to X key command hits.
- Improved to allow manual use by inputting C while waiting, walking, or running when the gauge is full. Ex) Grandark's Domination
- Improved so that the Skill Tree description is easier to understand.
- Increased the duration for buff effects. (Basic: 5 seconds → 8 seconds / Duration Lv1: 7 seconds → 10 seconds / Duration Lv2 : 9 seconds → 12 seconds / Duration Lv3 : 11 seconds → 15 seconds)
- Improved so that the buff duration does not reduce when using skills.
[Ready Stance]
- Added the [Ready Stance] skill to the Skill Tree. This skill can be activated using the X command after registering.
- Players can use existing special skills activated by directional keys after [Ready Stance].
- Of the selected skills, only 1 can be assigned to the Skill Tree per directional key.

- Improved to play the motion upon inputting ↑ during Ready Stance.
- Changed the special skill to a command attack. MP is not consumed when activated.
- Adjusted the damage and hitbox.
- Adjusted to reduce the Marble gauge gain as it is used more frequently due to the Special Skill Command Activation.

■ Dusk Bringer (4th Job) - Weapon Pose

[Flash Kick][Backward Flash Kick]
- Doubled the fall speed.
- Fixed a bug where the character was knocked back upon landing on the ground.
- Improved to have a faster motion cancel window so that the next movement can be quickly connected after landing on the ground.

3) Ley
- Fixed and removed duplicate or incorrect command guides.
[Random Summon]
- Improved so that 2 of the following are randomly summoned upon game start: Bastion and Jeeves, or Garouille and Haunt.

■ Summoner (1st Job)
[Combo Attack][Jump Attack]
- Increased the speed of projectiles. The final distance remains the same.
- Improved so that the projectile does not disappear due to enemy attacks in dungeons.
[Combo Attack]
- Improved attacks to chain faster.
[Up Attack during Combo]
- Improved so that the Combo Attack is chained faster when Z is input.
[Dash Attack][Inspire]
- Reduced the delay in cancel window for the motion so that next motion can happen faster.
[Dash Attack]
- Improved so that Dash to attack combos chain smoother.
- Improved so that moving is canceled and chained to attacks when Z is input during Dash.
[Jump Attack]
- Increased the speed of projectiles.
- Improved to jump after a certain amount of time following a jump attack, allowing players to continue to the next action.
- Improved Jump Attack to chain to Use Jump.
[Critical][Double Attack]
- Added a new attack. Fire a fast, powerful projectile towards the front.
[Double Attack]
- Improved to reduce Ley's skill cooldown upon activation.
[Charged Attack]
- Improved to fire stage 1 projectiles without needing additional charge.
- Improved to upgrade the projectiles' power and duration depending on the charge time.
- Targets are not damaged when hit with Charged Attack Stage 1 and 2.
- The additional effects of Charged Attack is only applied to stage 3 projectiles.
[Ready Stance: Technique Exclusive Ready Motion]
- Added the 'Ready Stance' skill to the Skill Tree. This skill can be activated using the XX command after registering.
- Upon activation, a directional key guide is displayed based on the active skill, and chains to the corresponding movement when the designated directional key is input.
- Upon using Ready Stance, nearby targets receive damage.
[Inspire]
- Improved to play the motion upon inputting XX +↓ after learning the [Ready Stance] skill.
- Cooldown is applied after use. (Dungeon: 16 seconds/PVP: 20 seconds)
[Dash during Jump]
- Improved so that it can be used up to 1 time while midair.
- The Dash during Jump count is reset when idling or dashing/running on the ground.
[Run]
- Improved so that the movement speed gradually increases when maintaining a running state.

■ Harbinger (2nd Job)
[Jump Attack Lv2]
- Improved the attack to hit in both directions, centered on Ley.
- Increased the attack range.
- Improved Jump Attack to chain to Use Jump.
- Improved to transition to a Wait Stance faster when landing on the ground during an attack.
[Dash Attack Lv2][Dash Attack : Increased Distance][Barrage]
- Reduced the delay in cancel window for the motion so that next motion can happen faster.
[Dash Attack Lv2][Dash Attack : Increased Distance]
- Increased the speed of projectiles.
[Barrage]
- Improved to play the motion upon inputting XX +↑ after learning the [Ready Stance] skill.
- Changed the special skill to a command attack. MP is not consumed when activated.
- Adjusted the damage and hitbox.
- Cooldown is applied after use. (Dungeon: 13 seconds/PVP: 13 seconds)
- Reduced the summon interval of Big Eyes from Barrage. Doubled the number of Big Eyes generated as a result.
- Improved so that Barrage is not destroyed in dungeons.

■ Evoker (3rd Job)

- Changed the special skill to a command attack. MP is not consumed when activated.
- Adjusted the damage and hitbox.

- Reduced the knockback distance of targets hit in dungeons.
[Gray Zone]
- Improved to deal continuous damage when launching targets nearby into the air in dungeons.

■ Dark Matriarch (4th Job)

- Generates additional Gravity Balls when activating Double Attack.
