[Announcement] Additional Guidance on the Long-Term Inactive Account Policy
Hello, Heroes of Bermesiah!
Prevoiusly on October 10, we announced through an official announcement that the ‘Long-Term Inactive Account Policy’ will be added to the End User License Agreement (EULA) to ensure smooth service provision and game operation.
We have received concerns from many players that their accounts may be deleted under the new policy if they did not log in for a long time.
This policy is added so that we could conduct In-Game Name Reset Events and we have no intent to manage inactive accounts or delete them.
We apologize for the lack of explanation on the new policy.
In order to alleviate the misunderstandings and make the ‘Long-Term Inactive Account Policy’ easier to understand, the details of the policy have been revised as follows.
1) Before: Account Information & Account In-Game Name Deletion
2) After: Account In-Game Name Reset
■ Applied Date: November 12, 2025 (Wed)
■ Long-Term Inactive Account Policy
• For the purpose of service improvement and smooth game operation, the company may reset account in-game name for accounts that have been inactive for 365 days or more from the date of last game access (hereinafter referred to as “Long-Term Inactive Accounts”).
• In the event that In-Game Name within a Long-Term Inactive Account is to be reset, the company will provide prior notice of the reset schedule and details through an official announcement.
• With the new Long-Term Inactive Account Policy, In-Game Name that has been Reset cannot be restored.
■ Additional Information
- Upon launching the game after the Policy takes effect in November 12, 2025, a new 'EULA Agreement Window' may pop up even if you have already agreed to the base EULA. You must agree to the newest EULA in the pop-up window to continue playing the game.
[FAQ Related to New Policy] Q1. Do you have to agree to the new EULA? What happens if you don't agree to it?
A1. Agree to the EULA to enjoy GrandChase Classic as intended. Not agreeing to it may prevent you from downloading, installing, and playing the game and the EULA will also no longer protect your gameplay.
Q2. Will the Account In-Game Name be reset if I fail to log in for 365 days?
A2. It will not be reset automatically. If the reset happens, there will be an announcement in advance to notify all players.
Q3. How do I reactivate my account if the reset announcement is made?
A3. When the reset announcement is made, we will notify all players of the time period of inactivity that flags the account as inactive. There will also be a time period for players to reactivate their account.
Even if the account was flagged as inactive prior to the announcement, players who log in 1 time within the time period will be able to remove the flag and reactivate their accounts.
Players do not have to do any additional measures other than just logging in.
