Skinwalker Hunt News

Next update will probably mess up your current hunt.

Next update to the game will feature major gameplay change. Because of this change, there might be issues for players who continue their hunt using save file that was created in older version of a game. So it is recommended to finish your current hunt before next update will drop and not start a new one if it will take a long time to finish it. Or you can take the risk, but it will be recommended not to use continue button and start new hunt on any map you want. I'm not yet sure when this update will drop.

v0.386 Skinwalker has new ability and major fix for achievements.

Version 0.386 is now live.

  • New camouflage ability for skinwalker has been added. Similar to the one used by the creature in the movie Predator.
  • A major flaw in stats based achievements system has been fixed. They are no longer tied to your save file.
  • Other small improvements to skinwalker and animals AI.

v0.378 Fixed achievements and skinwalker AI bug fixes

Version 0.378 is now live.

  • Fixed bug that caused most achievements to not work.
  • Fixed some bugs in skinwalker AI related to changes introduced in previous patch.
  • Fixed issue that caused totem to sometimes spawn inside geometry, below player.

v0.375 Improved AI and other improvements

Version 0.375 is now live.

  • After getting hit, skinwalker will now sometimes retreat not too far away and try to attack player right away instead of running away.
  • Due to the changes described above, it was decided to slightly increase skinwalker's health.
  • All possessed animals now have bloody mouth to draw more attention to the fact that those are not normal animals.
  • Roads are now visible on Longwind Velley map.
  • Worshipper will now use his telekinetic ability to push away player during melee fight.
  • Fixed issue that caused worshipper to sometimes teleport after the jump.
  • Deer will now play attacking audio queue, if player is low on health.
  • Bug that caused Home invasion achievement to trigger while you were inside the tent is now fixed.
  • Loot spawn changes on both maps.
  • Dogs now have appropriate animation and sound effect, when getting shot.
  • Fixed issue that caused skinwalker to sometimes not run away after getting shot.
  • Other small changes and improvements.

v0.368 Boar AI change and other improvements

Version 0.368 is now live.

  • Boar AI changed to make it less aggressive and threatening.
  • Tomahawk attack range increased by 25% to make it easier to use.
  • Fixed bug that caused radial menu to sometimes not function properly when adrenaline rush skill is active.
  • Fixed issue that made skinwalker instantly snap into and out of crawl animation. Now there's more smooth transition.
  • Other small changes and improvements.
