Thank you for playing The Self-Defense Update – Here's what happens next!
[p]
[/p][p]Fellow Officers,[/p][p]a huge thank you to everyone for playing the recently released Self-Defense Update! We hope you're enjoying the new form of escalation and the heightened sense of realism and danger across the City of Brighton.[/p][p]Bringing this major update to life was a huge effort across all departments. Several prototypes were created, countless variables have been tweaked, and many discussions with age rating agencies across the globe took place, plus a full re-rating of the entire game.[/p][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink]We are aware of a few issues that appeared with the release of the update. That's why, just before the weekend, we want to confirm that we are working on a first Hotfix that will resolve several problems as quickly as possible.[/p][p]We have categorized most issues into several stages of priority, with the plan to tackle the issues of utmost importance first. [/p][p]Here are just some of the problems we plan to fix with the first Hotfix:[/p]
- [p]Weapon Permits are always the same[/p]
- [p]Matrix Sign turns off when exiting vehicle[/p]
- [p]Winch disconnects from connected vehicle when entering Patrol Car[/p]
- [p]Unintended circular shape across the screen[/p]
- [p]Locker & Garage Edits do not save reliably[/p]
- [p]No drug deals happening at drug deal callouts[/p]
- [p]Several issues related to missing options and unintended behavior after performing CPR[/p]
- [p]Several issues connected to Gun Usage like unjustified CP Loss[/p]
- [p]Lights on Patrol Cars are not as bright as before, including Unmarked[/p]
- [p]"Thief got away" message appearing constantly even though that isn't actually the case[/p]
