Fellow officers,
we hope you're in a good mood, celebrating the first anniversary of PS:PO! 🎉

Well, we ate some cake already and drank a few orange juices... but what we're missing is a perfect appearance. Who else than one of you could provide us with one?

That's why we're hosting our very first Mod Contest and are looking for awesome skins for either the patrol cars or the officers which highlight the anniversary of the game. Maybe some colorful clothes, epic insignias, party poppers on the cars...

Have a nice idea? Then start creating and upload your mod to the Steam Workshop!

Skullhunter has uploaded one already and it looks awesome!

You have time until July 3rd, 2022 at 23:59 CEST! Afterwards, we'll select our favorite who will receive an awesome fan package... 👀

Good luck everyone 👏

Happy Birthday: One year of Police Simulator: Patrol Officers 🎉
Fellow officers,
Yes, we can't believe it either... but it's been exactly one year since we released Police Simulator: Patrol Officers!

Happy Birthday to us all 🎉

We couldn't be more proud of what we have achieved together with you over the last twelve months. We launched 6 betas, added 10 new tools, introduced 49 new violations, launched the game in 13 new languages, put in over new 2200 lines of dialogue, ate more than 380 pizzas... and spent a lot of time reading through the hundreds of thousands of messages you sent us during this overly fulfilling year!

So... how do we celebrate?

Red Tiger took a screenshot of it in the currently running beta for The Traffic Management Update – so join the beta to see it yourself or wait for the stable release coming on July 12, 2022!

It's glorious.

We are already working on plans for a bunch of new content updates but also haven't forgotten one of the most important aspects: Polishing what's already here. While we plan to expand the game to reach even more players (more about that at a later point), we can not wait to share more information about what's ahead for PS:PO in 2023.

That said... let's all get some cake and enjoy the sun on patrol through the sunny streets of Brighton!

Yours humbled,
The PS:PO Team

Delaying the release of The Traffic Management Update
Fellow officers,
The last few weeks have been incredibly exciting: With the start of the Beta for The Traffic Management Update, thousands have started to discover the new set of features, possibilities, and tools included.

While the feedback has definitely been positive, it became clear that a bunch of work is still necessary. We've collected a loooot of feedback (that spreadsheet is definitely a colossus...) and have already started our work on improving everything around the update. We think it is better to delay the update and take more time to improve it - and not push it out for the sake of pushing it out.

This is why we ultimately decided against releasing the stable build on June 28 and instead delay the entire Traffic Management Update to July 12, 2022.

In one of our last blog posts, we already mentioned a planned beta hotfix in which the currently missing reverse driving feature will be included. This beta hotfix will now be released on June 28.

So, in short:
 • Beta Hotfix: June 28, 2022
 • Stable Release: July 12, 2022
Yes, this is the very first time we are actively delaying an entire update. But we strongly believe it is for the better and hope to have your understanding.

If you haven't yet checked out The Traffic Management Update, you can just switch over to the beta branch. We will still collect feedback over the weeks to come and improve the game based on what you have to say.

With love,
Your Police Simulator Team

PS: The second episode of ON PATROL, centered around The Traffic Management Update, is out now! Make sure to tune in and learn more about how the development process works:
