Patch 017: Minor Hotfix

Note: You should see 1.0.4 in-game once you have the update.

General Bug Fixes
  • Pushing a fighter out of range during a scything attack now prevents the attack being finished.
  • Fixed spacebar not working on chooseplayer decisions
  • Fighter HUDs are now hidden during attacks that they are not a part of
  • Fixed event log for Drivebacks
  • Adding event log for Trapped
  • Reworked scything attacks to automatically attack the selected target
  • Removed card resolution event log it the card is a reaction
  • Lowered size of event log row text
  • Reworked cancel matchmaking popup to make sure players can't cancel once they have found a match
  • Added event log that details more attack info
  • Removed non-desired symbols from roll event logs
  • Fixed issue with card selection that would cause the game to crash.


Card Bug Fixes
  • Skitter scurry now allows you to push after move, then after attack during a charge (as per FAQ). If you push out of range of the attack the attack will not resolve (as per FAQ)
  • Skitter scurry no longer triggers twice off of Sneaky stab-stab


Known Issues:
+ The concede popup during friendly matches (Steam Invites, Match Codes) has the online match string: 'If you concede now you will not receive any Warband XP.'
This shouldn't be in the popup for friendly matches, you WON'T get any XP from friendlies even if you finish the match.

General Bug Fixes
  • Resurrecting fighters now removes Guard tokens as it should
  • Fixed some account-related issues by logging in using Steam
  • Fixed an issue where Ranked losses would not move your rank down - rank losses now calculate properly
  • Fixed an issue where some people were getting stuck on the progression screen after matchmaking


Card Bug Fixes
  • Fixed Charge issues with Momentary Boldness and Leadin' by Example
  • Fixed an issue where Lightning Blast would stop the game from progressing


Known Issues
There is a known issue with the card "Lightning Strike". If this card is in your hand for Bot matches and Tutorials it may cause the game to crash. WE ARE WORKING ON AN IMMEDIATE FIX FOR THIS.

This patch should be fixing a known issue regarding logins, however this may cause some current players to be reset to fresh accounts.
If you log in and your progression has been wiped, but your name is correct, this is affecting you.
  • Exit the game
  • Open the Directory AppData/Local Low/ Steel Sky Productions/Warhamer Underworlds_ Online, and send us the Player and Player_prev.logs
  • You can send them to as an attachment email at [email protected] with the subject line Account Data Transfer

This will help us track down your account info and we can move your data over to the new account. 😁

Warhammer Underworlds: Online leaves Early Access

Welcome to the winding streets of Shadespire. The great Mirrored City was once home to the Katophranes; powerful mages who cheated death by storing their spiritual essence in shadeglass. Enraged by this defiance, the Lord of Death Nagash cursed the city, trapping those within its walls to be imprisoned and tormented forever in shadeglass and condemning the city between the realms of light and shadows. Stuck between these two opposing realms, those who find themselves in this forgotten city, now enter the Underworlds. Never to be granted the release of death.

Today, rumors of grand treasures lost within Shadespire have caught the air, enticing those far and wide to foolishly seek out the city. Each warband that enters is now doomed to a life of endless combat, forever roaming the streets and catacombs of the cursed city, doing battle with everyone they encounter
 even mysterious reflections of themselves.

[h3]Warhammer Underworlds: Online has left Early Access.[/h3]
When we released Warhammer Underworlds: Online into Early Access on the 28th of January earlier this year, we were excited to work closely with our community to make a great game. With hundreds of play hours, bug-reporting and feedback, our players have been an essential part of development.
This brings us to today. We believe that the game is in a state that everyone should enjoy! Both newcomers to Underworlds and veterans alike!

This doesn’t mean we’re done. Not by any means. This is a beginning. Warhammer Underworlds: Online is a live game. We at Steel Sky Productions are continuing to bring you more content: cosmetics, universal cards, warband DLC and more!
With each patch/update there also will be quality of life improvements that will either be addressing bugs or implementing feedback from you!

[h3]Card Bug Fixes[/h3]
Lightning Blade and Starfalcon no longer stack crit damage after re-rolling dice
Sneaky Stab-Stab now calculates line of sight correctly
Fixed a discard issue with On Your Feet
+ Reflected Injury now makes you choose a friendly fighter first, allowing Skaven to inspire
+ Ranger’s Advance now only works if there are at least two fighters alive
+ Healing Potion’s prompt should now appear correctly

[h3]Known Issues[/h3]
+ Elias Swiftblade and Almeric Eagle-Eye aren't disappearing when killed. This can be a problem as their HUD will still be interactable, so be careful about placing a fighter on the same hex as their corpse. This will be fixed soon.
+ The Move and Shield icons on Inspired fighters are currently missing. This will be fixed soon.
+ We’ve noticed some problems with the cloth on some of the fighters. This will be fixed soon!
