The team has been hard at work on a bunch of new things, one of which includes bolstering the number of Universal cards available to diversify your deckbuilding. Very soon, we'll be releasing 20+ Universal cards! Stay tuned for when they go live. As always, Universal cards are a FREE update for ALL players!

Patch 033: Minor Hotfix

Menu/UI/UX Changes & Fixes
  • Deckbuilder now no longer shows spell cards for warbands that can’t use spell cards
  • Deckbuilder now has Ploy Only/Spell Only/All filter toggle
  • Fixed issue where longer localisation strings disappear from the OK button in popups
  • Glossary no longer doubles up entries after changing languages
  • Tutorial selection, bot warband selection, and match handicap selection popups are now dismissible when clicking outside of the popup
  • Leaderboard no longer shows irrelevant text when initially loading data
  • Leaderboard now uses properly localised warband names
  • Fixed a deck builder bug for non standard screen ratios
  • Various smaller main menu UI fixes


Tutorial Fixes
  • Tutorial 3 now uses proper player name labels
  • Message popups during the tutorial now appear under more crucial popups such as Settings and Language


Card & General Bug Fixes
  • Fixes to Black Hunger
  • Fixed inspire issues on clients (Scroll of the Dark Arts inspire fix)
  • Server stability improvements

Patch 032: Minor Hotfix

Performance Updates
  • Increase popup text time by 0.3 seconds
  • Updates for the Deckbuilder to make it more user-friendly
  • Various performance updates that ought to speed up loading and playing


Card Fixes
  • Bloody Retribution won’t trigger if the enemy fighter that would cause it to trigger is already dead
  • Multiple Fronts can no longer be scored by damaging your own fighters with ploys such as Shardgale
  • nvisible Walls discards its effect properly during the end phase. It doesn’t hang around until the next round if played during the very last Power Step


Bug Fixes
  • Fixed issues with damage reactions looping
  • Fixed an occasional issue with fighters spawning
  • Fixed Riptooth’s particle effects not appearing
  • We’ve added a potential fix for the bug that doubles up objective markers
  • Server-side changes to timeouts and connection issues to prevent players being stuck in game
  • Waiting For Opponent Connection issue: We now ask players to requeue if no opponent ever connects after a certain amount of time
  • Various other small fixes

Patch 031: Minor Hotfix

Bug Fixes
  • Fixed an issue with deck codes creating a ghost Brimstone Horror within the Eyes of the Nine warband. Users with this problem will need to save their deck code, then delete and re-create their deck
  • Fixed various non progression issues within the settings
  • Fixed an issue where objectives would double up and some other issues with objectives spawning
  • Fix for Lethal Strike hanging around too long
  • Fix for Crushing Force scoring when a character uses Unkillable
  • Fix to make sure “next activation” effects appear cleared during end phase
  • Fixed activation text, for real this time. No more “Activation 5”
  • Stopped the Horrors and K'charik from charging through blocked hexes and fighters
  • Fixed the Brimstone Horrors reaction Magical Flames which now works once per round as it should
  • Fixes to make sure Gambit Spells don’t trigger these cards: Undaunted, Blood Frenzy, Bloody Retribution, Continue the Slaughter, Fountain of Gore, On Your Feet, Malicious Flames, and Unkillable
