Patch 8. Mulitiplayer Sandbox, Leaderboard, Player list, Metal mines

Main changes:
  • A new network mode is available - a sandbox where you can play with an open map, a huge population limit and starting resources
  • Added player rating table
  • Decreased game slowdown while loading content
  • Do not build buildings of a past age


Mechanics:
  • You can not go into the Iron Age with the buildings of the Stone Age
  • The new structure of the Industrial revolution - the Mine - produces metal without the participation of units
  • If the work of the building has begun, it cannot be stopped by unfulfilled conditions
  • If the construction of the building has begun, it cannot be stopped by unfulfilled conditions
  • After a repair completed, workers search for a new repair target, if no other tasks
  • If the first unit in the training queue is not in reserve, the queue will be assigned to another training or upgrade


Interfaces:
  • During the preparation of the private game, a list of participants is available.
  • During the match, a list of participants is available.
  • The minimap shows enemy buildings in the half-fog of war
  • In the game settings, you can switch the language

Balance:

General:
  • Increased the price of the transition to the Iron Age from 400 to 500 metal
  • Increased the price of teh transition to the Middle Ages from 0/1000/600 to 0/2000/800
  • The area of destruction of many shells with area damage has been increased
  • Animals do not attack buildings
  • Deer: movement speed reduced from 100 to 95
  • Berry bush: amount of food increased from 250 to 300
  • All workers reduced automatic attack distance


Stone Age:
  • Temple: price changed from 100/400 to 0/500
  • Increased berry production speed: price increased from 75 to 100 materials.
  • Upgrade in timber extraction speed: price increased from 75 to 125 food


Early Europe:
  • Upgrade to increase the speed of timber production: price increased from 300/0/100 to 450/0/100

  • Militiaman: backup time reduced from 180 to 150 seconds


West Asia:
  • Cargo elephant: armor increased by 1, training time reduced from 80 to 70 seconds
  • Battle elephant: armor increased by 1, training time reduced from 120 to 100 seconds
  • Elephant-archer: armor increased by 1, projectile spread reduced from 25% to 20%
  • Armored elephant: armor increased by 1, projectile spread reduced from 25% to 20%
  • Elephant-rammer: armor increased almost 2 times, damage to buildings increased from 80 to 100
  • Elephant-Bashibuzuk: armor increased by 1, training time reduced from 160 to 130 seconds
  • Sipah: movement speed reduced from 100 to 90, duration of upgrade to Mamluk increased from 30 to 40 seconds

First Industrial Revolution:

Minipatch. Change the time of victory by the Wonder, various changes & bug fixes

Changes:
  • Wonder of the World victory timer increased from 25 to 30 minutes
  • Victory by Wonder of the World cannot be earlier than 90 minutes from the start of the match
  • In survival mode, an improvement on opening a map of the area is not available
  • In 1x1 mode, the second player uses green color instead of blue
  • A special sound is played at the start of the match

Bugs fixed:
  • Start-up workers sometimes come blocked by the forest

  • The interface is distorted in different parts of the menu when the interface is scaled
  • During the upgrade of all selected units - the upgrade button in the unit's operation panel continues to be displayed
  • During the upgrade of a part of selected units, the upgrade tooltip in the unit’s work panel makes calculations, including for already improving units
  • If a unit/building upgrade is not available, its icon in the upgrade button looks normal
  • Geese and goats can be selected with the mouse frame
  • The selection frame does not disappear after releasing the left mouse button, if the selection of the construction plan is enabled during selection
  • Many other minor visual errors

AMD and War Selection. increase performance

We hasten to share the good news.

Users of AMD-based video cards met with unreasonably poor performance in our game.

And as it became known, this happens in many other modern games.

The problem that our programmer identified was in the video card driver. We contacted AMD with a detailed description of this issue. After researching, they recognized its presence and took up the correction.

And finally, the fix was added to the global driver update.


If you have an AMD based graphics card, we strongly recommend updating your video card drivers.

Starting with the "Adrenalin 2020 Edition 19.12.2 Recommended (WHQL)", this issue has been fixed and driver update will increase performance of almost all modern games using OpenGL.

Mini patch. Korean language, bugs fix...

Changes:
  • Korean language added to the game
  • Instead of the word "Player" in many places now uses the name of the player
  • Some buildings have changed textures


Bugs fixed:
  • In some situations, units may gradually penetrate walls
  • Transition to the Bronze Age of Asia takes 60 seconds (it was 90)
  • Units with damage in the frontal area do not always deal damage to targets within the affected area
  • A unit can shoot beyond the attack distance if the target moves away
  • Deer do not run away from the enemy towards the edge of the map
  • Machine gunner deals damage in a small area instead of a point

Patch #7. Xmas tree, spearmans bravado, tree destruction, shelling...

Main changes:

  • It is possible to buy Xmass tree ability and use it to place Xmass tree in any match to please all players in it
